Ahsoka just sat down on one of the couches of the Skywalkers living room, covering her legs with the warm blanket and watching the screen in front of her, going through the many channels.
She got a message from Luke and Ines, telling her that they just left Mon Mothma's home, and the Senator driver was the one taken them, while their parents still decided to stay at the party for a little longer, so they would be there in less than 20 minutes.
Looking at the windows, she saw the drops of rain on it, showing that it would be another rainy and cold night.
She was ready to wait for Luke and Ines to return, when she heard some noises towards her left. Looking at that direction she saw Alli, in her pajamas that had her father's green lightsaber pictures on it, rubbing her right eye and hold on her left hand the stuffed toy of Luke that her uncle Han had gave to her and her sister years ago on Life Day.
"Aunt Ahsoka," she said in her still sleepy voice, as she approached her.
"Alli, sweetheart, what are you doing out of bed, in the cold?"
The little got closer to her.
"Mama and Papa are not home yet."
Ahsoka couldn't help to smile while she took Alli's hair away from her eyes.
"They are about to arrive sweetie. Don't worry. You can go back to bed cause I'm sure when they arrive, they will go there and give you a goodnight kiss."
"I want to wait for them," she pouted.
Ahsoka knew that no matter what she would say, Alli would not change her mind, even know the little girl was sleepy.
"Come here," she said and putting the blanket aside, Alli sat right beside her, and covering the 4 years old girl, Ahsoka just wrapped her left arm around her smiling when she rest her head on her torso.
Looking at the toy that Alli was hugging, Ahsoka smiled.
"May I see the toy you are holding?"
Looking at her, Alli nod and handle the toy.
Ahsoka examine the toy, which was Luke in his Battle of Endor black suit, with the poncho, and had his lightsaber hanging on his waist.
"That's Papa when he was in the Ewok planet," Alli explain looking at the Togruta.
"Really? And you know the Ewoks planet?"
"Yes," she replied. "We camped there and I celebrate my birthday there too."
"That's nice. Did you like it?"
"Yeah," the 4 years old nod.
"And who gave this toy to you?" she asked handled the toy to Alli, who hugged it right away.
"Uncle Han as a present on Life Day. Padmé has mama with her."
"You got a lot of presents on Life Day, didn't you?"
Alli nod.
"Yeah, but I don't think the Ancient Wookiee will give me presents this year," she said out of nowhere.
"Because of what you did back in your Papa's planet? Running away towards the canyon?"
"Yeah, and also the big tantrum I did too."
Ahsoka glare at Alli with wide eyes.
"You made a tantrum!?"
"I know. Shocking right?" the little girl said shaking her head, making Ahsoka laughed and pulling her closer she kissed the top of her head.
