Chapter 29 - Safe and Grounded

Ines and Leia were sitting my the dining room table, waiting for their husbands to arrive. The moment Luke, Han and Chewie reached the kids, they felt that and now they were more relieve, and they were just waiting to hug their kids, before they grounded them.

They were in silence, when Ben appeared.

"Mama, Aunt Leia, they are here," he said to them.

"Thank Goodness," Leia replied and both women stood up.

The moment that Luke, Han and Chewie entered inside the farm with the kids by their hands, Ines and Leia ran towards them, and hugging them, they kissed their cheeks, happy that their babies were okay and unharmed, before give them a lecture for leaving the farm the way they did.

Looking at their daughters, Ines grabbed the girls shoulders and made them look at her.

"What were you two thinking? Leaving the farm, in the middle of the night. You know Tatooine can be a dangerous place. You could get hurt, or worst." she kept saying, while the girls kept nodding. They knew they would be grounded for sure, just like their father already warn them during the trip back home.

"And you took your cousins too?" Luke said making the girls look up at him.

"Papa, we wanted to see the place where you were when you were a boy," Alli tried to explained, while Luke sat on the step of the living room, looking at his daughters.

"If you wanted to see the canyon where papa hide that night, you could just asked me and I would have taken you there. But you two decided to do on our own, and you know that means you two are in big trouble for doing that behind our back," he told them. "Like your mother said, you could get hurt and you put your cousins in danger too."

"I'm sorry," Padmé said looking at her father and mother.

"You know that sorry will not be enough this time, young lady," Ines replied. "You two are grounded. No toys and not sweets for a month. Next time you may think twice before doing that again."

Alli and Padmé gasped when they heard that.

"We won't doing it again," Alli said.

"Yeah, we promise." Padmé followed her.

"We know you won't, because if you do, next time it wont be just a grounded," Luke said, and grabbing the kids hands he pulled them towards him. "Mama and Papa and everyone else were very concerned with you two. Actually with the four of you. If you want something relate to mama or papa, just ask us. You know you can ask us anything."

Alli and Padmé nod. They knew their parents were right.

"I'm sorry Papa. And I'm sorry mama," the girls said at the same time.

"We know you are," Ines smiled and sitting next to her husband, she pulled her kids and kissed them. "But you still grounded for a month." she continue, giggling when the girls growled. They knew when their parents said something, there was nothing that would change their mind, and today was one of those times.

They knew they were grounded for a month, and the only thing they could do was to obey and hope the month pass quickly.

"And you know you two are grounded too, right?" Han said to his kids.

"Just like your cousins, no toys and sweets for a month as well," Leia said looking at them. "And you got lucky I won't grounded more for making your brother to follow on your crazy idea of going to that canyon," she said looking at Anakin, making the little boy gasped at his mother.

"I didn't do anything, mama. I even told them not to go, but they didn't listen to me," the four years old boy replied looking at his cousins and twin brother.

Leia couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Really Anakin Solo. Now you add lying? Your father and I didn't teach you to lie to people, especially to your parents, young men."

"I'm not lying," Ani said stomping his right feet on the ground and frown towards his mother.

"Do you expect me to believe that it was your brother who wanted to go and convince you to go with them?" she said standing up and looking down at him.

"Yes it was," the boy continue to tell her.

"That's it. You don't get your toys for 2 months, and if you continue to lie that time will get longer," Leia replied. She had enough with that.

"It is not fair," the little boy said with tears in his eyes.

"Leia, take it easy," Ines told her.

"No, I will not take it easy. Now he is adding lies too. He needs to learn a lesson," Leia replied to her.

The twins looked at each other, and Alli approaching her aunt, she grabbed her hand and shook her left hand.

"Aunt Leia."

"Yes sweetie."

"Ani is not lying," the kid told her.

"Yes. He is telling the truth, aunt Leia," Padmé said too. "He didn't want to go and tried to convince us not to go, because it could be dangerous and you would be mad at us."

Leia gasped and looked at her son, who had his eyes filled with tears.

"But he went with you."

"That's because Bail started to call him names and saying he was a baby and he was scare," Alli said, making Han looked at Bail and making the boy look at him, he asked him.

"Is that true, Bail Chewbacca?"

The boy looked at his father, and with no word he simple nod his head.

Han sighed and looked at Leia, who was surprised that revelation.

"But I'm glad he went cause he saved us from that mean creature," Alli said smiling at her cousin.

"He is a hero," Padmé said smiling too. "Thank you Ani." and the girls hugged their cousin, making Luke and Ines smiling at the scene.

Leia still couldn't believe it, but she approached her son and crouching she looked at the boy.

"I'm sorry sweetie. Mama was wrong," she said, trying to pull the boy towards her, but was surprised when Ani pushed her away.

"No," Ani said and ran away, being followed by Chewie, leaving Leia with no reaction, and everyone in silence, since they knew that sooner or later this would happened.

"Happy now," Han said looking at his wife.

"What is that suppose to mean?" she asked him.

"Oh come on Leia. We all know that you keep protecting Bail and always blame Anakin for everything bad that happens, of course that sooner or later he would had enough of that."

"Are you saying I don't love my son?" she asked him angrily.

"If you do, then you have a very lack of way to show it," Han said and started to walked away.

"Where are you going, I'm not done yet," she yelled at him.

"I'm going to see my son. At least showing him that one of his parents actually love him for who he is, and not judge him because of his name," and with that he left.

"You Nerf – Herder," she yelled, and looked at her brother and sister in law and at the kids who were in silence watching the scene. "What?"

"Nothing, Han said enough," Luke answered her and shaking his head, he followed Han to check on his nephew.

"Come on, let's drink some tea," Ines told her best friend and sister in law. "We need to talk." and she went to the kitchen, while Leia stood there, knowing that deep inside Han was right.

"What have I done?" she thought.

Trouble in the house. Do you think Han is right of what he said to Leia? And who she will do to fix this?
