Chapter 6 - Happy

Luke and Ines just ended their dinner, and decided to went outside their hut, enjoying the warm night, sitting on the bench, holding 7 months old Luke, while his siblings were playing around.

Looking at Ben, who continue to have his little stick pretending it was a lightsaber, Ines looked at her husband:

"He really loves the idea of having a lightsaber."

Luke looked at their first born and smiled at the scene.

"I know."

"When you will give it to him?"

"I want to trained them first before handing a lightsaber to his hands."

Ines nod.

"You know that two specific girls will want one too, right?" she giggled.

Luke couldn't help but giggle too.

"I know and I don't want to upset them, especially Alli, now that she is closer to me again," he said looking at her. "Thank you my love."

Ines looked at him.

"For what?"

"I know you were behind all of that. Sending Alli to call me for dinner," he said smiling at her and their baby boy, who was holding his teething toy, drooling all over it.

"I was just doing my job as a mother and wife," she said winking at him.

Smiling, Luke leaned forward and kissed her, letting the kiss held for a little longer than usual, until they were interrupted by one of her twins.

"Hey, are you tired of playing? I mean running around," he said laughing, while he removed Padmé's hair from her eyes.

The little girl looked at her father, and Luke noticed she had a serious look on her face, like something was bothering her.

"Sweetie, is something wrong?"

The 4 years old looked at him and asked:

"Papa, do you love Alli mowe than me?"

Luke looked at Ines with wide eyes and then looked back to his daughter.

"Where did you get that idea?" He asked her, while he picked her up and sat her on his left leg.

Padmé looked back at him.

"I know you cwoser to Alli. So I thought you love her mowe," she said.

"Of course I don't love your twin more than you. I love all of you the same way."

"Weally?" she asked him.

"Let me ask you something sweetie? What is your name?" Luke asked his daughter.

"Padmé Beru Talia Skywalker." the little girl answered making Ines smiled at her precious girl.

"Do you know that you have the two names of two of the women that are very important to Papa. Besides your mama, you and your sister, and your aunt Leia?"

Padmé looked at her father.

"Weally?" she asked him again, while her siblings approached to hear the conversation too.

"Yes. You have grandma's name and my aunt Beru, who was very important to me."

"Why father?" Ben asked this time.

"Cause my aunt Beru was my mama since I was a baby. She was the one who took care of Papa until the day I met your mama."

"How was she Papa?" Alli asked him.

Luke smiled sadly, when the image of his aunt appeared in to his mind.

"She was very kind and nice and fair. She would love all of you and would spoil you so much," he said laughing making the kids laughing too. "So as you can see I named you after them. Besides you were the first to came out of mama, so for 5 minutes you were my only baby girl." he said kissing her cheeks, making Padmé smile at her father.

Looking at Ben, Luke smiled.

"I love all of you. You two are my sweet girls, and you Ben, I fell in love with you years before you were even born."

"How?"

"Well when I was training, I was able to see the future and I saw you in your mother's arms right after you were born, and the moment I saw you in my head, I couldn't wait to have you in my arms and be your father," he smiled running his fingers through his first born brown hair, making Ben smiled.

Then they heard a babble from Ines's arms.

"I think someone is feeling left out," she said kissing her baby's cheeks.

Putting Padmé on the floor, Luke grabbed his 7 months old and resting his little feet on his legs, he faced his baby son.

"You don't need to be jealous. After all you will continue to take the Luke Skywalker name through the galaxy for many years," he said kissing his son and holding closer to his chest.

Looking at his other 3 kids, Luke smiled.

"I'm blessed to be your father and never doubt my love for you," he said.

Nodding the kids came to him and all hugged him, making Ines smiled at the scene.

"Well sorry to interrupt the beautiful moment, but it is time to get your pajamas, brush your teeth and go to bed," she said standing up.

"Okay," Alli said and they all head to their hut, where the kids got ready to go to bed.

After put the kids in their beds, Luke entered inside his and Ines's bedroom and smiled when he watched his wife, sitting in the edge of the bed combing her long brown hair.

Taking off his boots, and his tunic, he climbed on the bed and approaching her from behind and removing her hair from her right shoulder, he kissed her neck, while he was undoing the laces of her nightgown, making her giggled.

"I thought you wanted to sleep," she said looking down seeing the last lace of the nightgown undone and feeling Luke pulling it down her shoulders.

"I know, but well for the past 2 and half weeks I didn't do my duties as a proper husband."

Turning to face him, Ines frown at that.

"What are you talking about, Luke?"

"You know. It has being a while since we made love," he said looking at her.

"Luke, I know lately you have a lot in your mind, and I understand. We don't need to have sex all the time for you to show me you love me. I know you do."

"I know but that doesn't mean I don't desire you, cause I do, a lot," he replied kissing her deeply, while he helped her remove her nightgown.

Laying down on the bed, they pulled apart gasping for air.

"Besides, I think we need a little distraction don't you think?" he winked, making her laugh.

"Well I can agree with that," she smiled at him.

Smiling back he leaned down again and the couple made love that night.

A family moment where Luke talked with his kids and told them how much he loves them.
