The medical tent was silent, all ears and eyes focused on the small woman in bed. Her hand rested on her stomach while she explained her story. Her fingers gently dug into her skin signaling to their maester she was in pain.

Arthur shuffled over to the other side of the bed, checking her bandages for anymore bleeding. The girl sighed, her temperature too high to think straight.

"They do exist..." Lilith spoke softly. The eyes of everyone in that tent now fixated on the princess.

Jon, still kneeling by his sister's side, spoke up, "You know of these creatures?" Arya was still so puzzled by her whereabouts, how Jon got here, who this woman was...

"The sirens, souls of the sea, created by the Gods to protect our lands. Alien creatures cloaked in smooth human flesh with beautiful eyes, plump lips, long silky hair, full breasts, and a hypnotizing voice that sailors cannot escape," Lilith continued, "You'd think they were human, but beneath the water hides a spiny, scaly tail filled with poison and their fingers are long and sharp with talons. Once they lure you into the depths, their sharp teeth tear men to shreds."

Arya took a sip of water, "They made this piercing scream.. it was so painful to listen to."

"Their song can only be heard by man, for man is their enemy," Lilith explained.

Arya nodded slowly, "They took one hundred of my men before they left.. that was when the canons erupted and Pirates commandeered my vessel. They slaughtered another fifteen..I dove overboard before the ship went down. I remember being attacked by one of those things, it scratched me..." Lilith's eyes trailed down to Arya's stomach and arm now noticing the wounds.

I stabbed it before making it ashore with just thirty-five men.. We were on the beach for several days before moving inward. That was when this creature came after us. Only five remain and they are in the other tents."

"You're very lucky, Arya," Lilith tried to explain.

"Lucky? I watched my men get ripped to shreds... I heard their cries of pain! I did nothing, I led them to their deaths and I'm one of the only survivors! They were good people!" Arya's voice grew, she winced from the pain in her body.

Jon gently rubbed her back, "Shhhh, Arya. Calm down, it's alright. Rest please."

Arya cried softly, the pain she was in was immeasurable, "Who is she? How does she know me?"

"I'm Li-"

Jon silenced her, "Lilith. She is from this land, she's a friend..." the princess's eyes softened, her hands curled into fists, "She's been helping us navigate this land." Lilith was hurt to say the least. She turned and exited the tent, leaving Jon to tend to his sister.

Arthur followed after her, "Lilith, I hate to bring you this news, but we need more medicine. Would you be able to travel to that village and retrieve some? I fear Arya won't make it much longer. Her wounds and the pain she's in is worse than I had presumed."

Lilith nodded, "I'll grab Cleo and head out right away." She marched on to the horses.

Jon wiped sweat from his sister's forehead, her skin mirroring a corpse's. He hated seeing his sister in such pain. His attention shifted to Arthur re-entering the tent.

"Snow, Arya has been poisoned by those creatures... They only managed to get a small amount before she escaped, but now the poison has traveled throughout her body and she will not make it much longer."

Jon's expression hardened, "Do whatever it takes to heal her!"

Arthur grabbed a cold, dampened cloth to place against Arya's burning skin, "Lilith is traveling to the village to get medicine, I can provide her pain relief and reduce her temperature but she has sought after the antidote."

Jon stood quickly, "I'll return shortly," he smiled down at Arya and left quickly before his sister could protest.

"Lilith!" Jon called and the girl rolled her eyes, "What are you doing? Going to the town by yourself?"

"I'll be back in two weeks..." was all the princess said.

Jon grabbed the horse's reins firmly, "Give me a moment I will prepare my horse.."

The girl finally turned to face Snow, "You will not be accompanying me."

"Lilith I-"

"Your sister could pass at any moment, you will stay with her.. After all I'm just a friend."

Jon tensed up, his voice growing, "You can't be serious... Lilith you know how I feel, I didn't believe it was the best time to announce to my dying sister that I was in love."

Lilith snatched the reins from his grasp, "We shall discuss this another time, if we're to save your sister I must leave now. You will stay here."

"What about Daemon and his men?" Jon questioned, the worry quite clear.

"Daemon would never set foot in the village, besides, I know that town in and out. I know all of the alleys and hiding places. I feel my identity will be harder to find on my own, if you accompany me my identity will be more obvious," Lilith climbed onto her horse, "Goodbye Jon. I shall return in fourteen days." She provided no time for the man to respond before taking off.

Arya's bloodshot eyes locked in on Jon upon his return to the tent. She smiled softly, her ghostly skin glistening from sweat.

"You seem quite distressed over a friend.." her weak voice spoke out.

Jon sat beside her, worry clear as day painted on his face, "She's been a big help to us... Without her I don't believe we would still be alive."

Arya couldn't help but roll her eyes, "The poison hasn't harmed my brain, I can see you care for her."

Her brother finally looked at her, "Arya.."

"Is she crazy..?" She cracked a smile.

Jon laughed softly, "Yes."
