"your very talented" Rachel told Finn in the line at the vocal adrenaline invitational
"really?" he replied
"he's so delusional" Enzo whispered to Mercedes, a couple people behind them
"I would know im talented too, you know a lot of people expect us to be an item you the hot male lead and me the stunning young ingenue everyone roots for" Rachel says making the two burst out laughing
"well I uh have a girlfriend" Finn admits
"really who?" Rachel questions
"Quinn Fabray" Finn tells the girl, at this point Enzo zones out, not needing to know the details of the girl he's liked since grade 8 having a boyfriend that was not him

After getting his sour patch kids him and Mercedes made their way to the auditorium taking seats next to each other
"Hey guys, So this is suppose to be our 'competition'" Mr Schue says with air quotes around the word competition "But I honestly don't think that they've got the talent we've got lets be a good audience. Give them some of that McKinley high respect"
"Please give a warm buckeye state welcome to last years regional champion, vocal adrenaline" the man on the speakers said before the crown burst into applause

"We're doomed" Tina stuttered whilst the rest of glee club is stunned by the performance

"You're leaving us? when?" Artie asked Mr Schue
"I've given my two weeks' notice but I promise I'm going to find you guys a great replacement before I go" Mr Schue promised the group
"Is this cause those Carmel kids were so good? Because we can work harder" Mercedes told the teacher
"This isn't fair Mr Schuster" Rachel said "we cant do this without you"
"So does that mean that I don't have to be in the club anymore or-"Enzo started before everyone else looked at him
"Look this isn't about you guys being an adult is about having to make difficult choices its not like high school" he admits "sometimes you have to give up that things that you love one day you guys are going to grow up and understand that I have loved being your teacher"
He leaves the room with tears in his eyes

"Didn't see you at glee club today" Rachel said as Enzo shut his locker
"Is that still happening you know after Mr Schue left"
"I've taken over"
"Good thing I wasn't there then" Enzo mutters under his breath but he's pretty sure she heard him
"I'm interim director but I expect the position will become permanent"
"hi Enzo, RuPaul" Alessandra greeted with Quinn and Santana behind her
"Hey lessa"
"What are you doing talking to her?" Quinn asks stepping forward
"Science project were partners" Rachel says quickly
"Mom wants me to tell you she'll be out tonight so she can't pick us up" Alessandra told her brother
"How are we getting home then" he asks
"Quinn's going to take us" she says before walking away with the two others
"I've got art now, I've got to go, but I cant do glee anymore"
"It conflicts with your reputation" Rachel says for him
"No, I just didn't want to join in the first place, im going to be late"

Finn didn't even try bother to get Enzo to come back to glee knowing he wouldn't do it.
However on the way to Quinn's car Enzo walked past the auditorium seeing the glee club performing don't stop believing and realized he didn't really mind the group of teens and he was quite good at singing even if he was just in the background and decided he wanted to join glee again

"Morning Enzo, nice drawing" Mr Schue says making Enzo quickly shut what he's been working on
"thanks" he replies before walking into school to get to his locker before class

"Ah freak out" this was the one part of glee club he didn't like the random disco songs Mr Schue would make them sing. "le freak c'est chic freak out"

"woah woah hell to the nah, first you try to bust my face again and I will cut you" Mercedes spoke referencing to Rachel nearly kicking her in the face "and also this song is terrible"
"its not the song you guys just need to get into it" Mr Schue defended
"no its the song its really gay" Kurt said
"we need modern music Mr Schue" Artie told him
"I'm sorry guys we don't have time to discuss this were doing this song at the pep assembly"
"in front of the whole school" tina stuttered

"there going to threw food at us and I just had a facial" Kurt said
"I'll press charges if that happens" Rachel threatened
"guys I cant express to you how important this assembly is, we need recruits there is seven of you we need fourteen to qualify for regionals we have no choice or the club is over" Mr Schue spoke "I know you guys don't like this song but we took nationals back in 93 with freak out its a crowd pleaser trust me from the top"
the group groaned all looking at each other in displeasure
