Love Never Fails

Julia , a 16 year old, she is a normal high school student and is very well known as a loud yet shy girl. As every girl she does have a Secret crush but she wonders whether to move on or not. With Prom coming up her only dream is to get asked but will she wait for her crush or choose another guy?

Chapter 1

Julia's POV

It was another regular morning I woke up got into the shower and got dressed really quickly in my light blue skinny jeans and my laced cardigan and my black glitter toms. I was already late for school so i didn't take long on my hair. Since my hair was somewhat long I put it in a braid. I went downstairs and grabbed an orange and walked outside to my beautiful white Tahoe, that my dad had given me after sophmore year.

Once I got to school as I walked over to my best friend Amber who was at her locker as usual. She was rocking her Black Vans and her dark skinny jeans with her white long sleeve.

"HEY!" I screamed in her ear as she was staring at her crush,Derek, across the hall.

"WTF! why would you scream in my ear?" She said with a pissed look.

"Honestly Amber make a move before he goes back with Pamela." I said as I pushed her gently.

She looked at me as if she was going to kill me. 

"Soooo... anyways Amber when are we going to go Prom dress shopping?"

She looked at me with confused eyes. "Uhhh... you know I don't really want to go."

"Can I slap you and bring you back to reality?"

She looked at me with wide eyes, which meant that Tyler was behind me. 

Once I heard his voice my muscles went weak and my face turned cherry red. Yes, Tyler has been my secret crush for 3 years now. i liked him the first day of our Freshman year.  I would get butterflies in my stomach and my palms all sweaty. Even since then we have never had a conversation which was weird to me because other than the fact that I liked him.... i talked to everyone and when I say EVERYONE I mean it. Throughtout all 3 years we had never talked or exchanged words only smiles. Its actually kind of weird especially the facct that he is my neighbor because i see him all the time even when i don't want to. I do remember talking to him once in Freshman year during Algebra 1 when he asked me for gum but that was pretty much it.

My great flashback was rudely interrupted when Amber said hi to Tyler and called him over. 

"Oh hi Amber." He said as I gave Amber that YOUR'E DEAD WHEN HE LEAVES LOOK.

"So when's the next game?" She asked.

"Idk I think afyer Prom maybe? Or maybe before." He said, as i opened my locker which was right next to Amber's.

"Ohh... we will definately be there. Right Jul?" She asked trying to bring me into the convo. 

I replied with a simple "Yeah."

"Well I better get going. I don't want to be late to class again." He said as he walked away. He was wearing his white Nike's with dark jeans and a white with light blue button up shirt. 

"Amber wtf was that? You know i get nervous around him!" I whispered. 

"It's fine. At least he knows where your locker is now so he can leave you notes." She chuckled. 

"Ugh. Let's just go to class before I strangle you." 

We closed our lockers and walked to Pre-Cal with Ms. Chavez. She was a chill teacher and she knew about my crush on Tyler. I had told her the last time she had given me a ride home. She said that Tyler was a complete sweetheart and such a great person to have as a friend. If only he considered us friends. I bet he doesn't even know my name and if he did why would i want to be in the "Friend Zone" until 12th grade. Uhhmm no thanks. I rather not be his friend and have a little hope he will see as more than just a girl in the hallway or a friend. Ms. Chavez had announced there was going to be a new seating chart. I was sitting next to Amber until we had to finish our Warm-Up then she would tell us our new seats.

"Amber I'm sure Ms. Chavez put you next to Derek." i said giggling.

"I'm going to be laughing if she sits you next to Tyler." She said trying to get even with me. 

"HAHA Your'e soo funny." i said sarcastically. 

"OKAy, class Warm-Ups away and find your new seats." She said as she put up the new seats.

"Jul.. Look who your'e sitting next too." she said with a big smile. 

I looked up to see "Julia and Tyler" in the last row of the class.

I looked at Amber with wide eyes. "No." was all I could say. 

"Go, how bad could it be?" She said trying to make the situation better.
