Chapter 9

The past may bring wonders

Julia's POV

"I don't even get a hug?" He said.

"Oh... Sorry." I said before giving him a hug.

I can't believe he's here. I haven't seen him in 4 months and DAMMN!! He got CUTER!

"So what are you doing here Mark?" Amber asked.

"I came to visit my favorite girl." He said with his sexy voice.

"Oh really? And who’s that?" Asked Yas.

"Julia. Duh!" He said.

Why did he have to show up? I mean I understand why he was in love with me and I promised him he could visit me whenever and we would still be friends even after we broke up. He was my boyfriend for about a year and a half.

He walked up to me and asked, "Wanna go get some ice cream?"

Of course he would say ice cream he knows how much I love ice cream. He knew me better than I knew myself.

"Yeah." I replied with a smile.

We walked to my truck when Mark stopped me and told me he wanted a hug.

"Umm okay?" I said.

I hugged him and he hugged me back like he did when we were together. While we were hugging I spotted Tyler staring through his window.

OH SHIT! What is he going to think? FUCK MY LIFE.

"Okay ready to go?" Mark asked.

"Yeah lets go." I said with a small smile.

Tyler’s POV

I was getting ready to leave when I saw a stranger's car pull into Julia's driveway. Who could that be? Time passed and the dude went inside Julia's house. I made breakfast to kill time and when I passed by my window I saw Julia hugging the guy. Who is he? Ugh why does it bother me so much? I don't like that kid. She got in his car where could they be going?

I need to find out.

I called Amber.

"Hey do you know if Julia is home?" I asked trying to remain cool.

" No she just left with Mark. They went to get ice cream. Why?" Amber said.

" Oh because there is an envelope in my mailbox to her name and I wanted to give it to her. Ill just bring it over when she gets back." I said quickly and hung up.

She went with HIM to get ice cream. Who is Mark? Why is she with him? Ugh!!

Mark's POV

I can't believe she accepted my invitation for ice cream I know how much she loved ice cream. She looks so beautiful just like I remember. Her hair is so much longer and her eyes glitter so much. I'm not leaving this city without getting her back. I'm on a mission.

"You look beautiful today." I said with a smile.

"Thanks. " she said blushing.

"So how have you been?" I asked trying to start a convo.

"Good and you? How was your trip?" She asked.

"Horrible." I said.

"Why?"

"Because I wasn't with you."

Julia's POV

I know exactly what he's doing. Mark is trying to get me back... If only he knew I love some one else. I don't want to hurt him again. Once we got to the ice cream shop he ordered for me because he already knew what I liked.  He knew so much about me. I think he even knows more about me than I do.

"Here you go Princess." He said with his charming voice.

"Thanks." I said.

For some reason I LOVED it when he called my princess. It made me get butterflies in my stomach all the time.

After we finished the ice cream he drove me home.

"I missed you so much Julia." He said.

"You did?" I asked

"How could I not miss the girl I loved so much?" He replied.

Omg how am I suppose to reply to that? I don't want to get his hopes up. I like Tyler but what if Tyler only sees me as just another girl? Maybe Mark does deserve another chance.

As soon as we go to my house Mark opened the door for me and was being a gentleman and all. He even walked me to my front door like he used to when we were together.

"I really want you back Julia." He said

I felt myself blushing and didn't say a word.

"What do you say we try this out again?" Mark asked me.

"What?" I said.

"Will you be my girlfriend again?" He asked as he gave me a necklace with an M on it.

"Mark what is this?" I asked him.

"I love you Julia. There isn't a day when I don't think about you." He said.

Awww that’s so sweet!! He's such a sweetheart. Maybe its best if I give Mark a chance he seems to really want it and maybe my feelings for him will wake up again.

"Yes." I said.

His face lit up with happiness as he grabbed me and hugged me tight and spun me around. After he put me back down he leaned in for a kiss, which I gave him. It was a nice slow kiss and it brought back so many good happy memories. After he put the cross around my neck and hugged me tight.

"Want to come inside?" I asked.

"Sure babe." He replied

We sat down and watched Netflix when there was a knock at the door.

"Mark can you get it? I'm lazy,” I asked.

"Anything for you my princess." He said while he walked to the front door.

Tyler's POV

I need to talk to Julia ASAP! I feel bad for what happened last night. I need to know why she reacted the way she did.

I walked to her house and saw the DUDE's car. I rang the doorbell and there he was the random stranger.

"Hello. Who are you?" He asked me.

Shouldn't I be the one asking him that?

"Tyler. Is Julia home?" I said.

"Babe! Someone is here to see you." He shouted.

BABE? Why is he calling her babe?? 

I heard footsteps and it was Julia. She stood in front of him while he grabbed her waist.

Why did I even come? Why is she wearing an M on her neck? This must be Mark.

"Tyler? What are you doing here?" She asked with her cute voice.

"Oh I just wanted to tell you that the...umm... Umm the game is next week." I said.

" Oh okay." Was all she said. 

"We'll see you later." I said with a fake smile on.

Julia's POV

Ohh FUCK! Why did Tyler come over just to tell me that? He could have texted me. Hmm. I wonder why he came? Is he jealous? No JULIA you are with MARK get over Tyler! He doesn't look at you that way!

"Babe? Why did that kid come over to tell you about a game? Does he like you cuz I will beat the crap out if him." He said.

"No Mark. He's just a really special friend." I said.
