Chapter 2

Tyler's POV

I woke up late to school once again. I didn't do my homework as usual but I never really cared about school. My only focus was Soccer and sometimes Girls. I got ready in a hurry and raced out to my Red Mustang with Gold rims. As everyone knewIi was a big 49er fan. As I walked out front I heard the engine of Julia's White Tahoe. Julia had been my neighbor ever since 2nd semester of sophmore year. We never really talked, which was very awkward because she talks to Everyone but me. I got into my car and drove off to school. I walked into school and everyone of course said hi to me.... well DUH!! I'm a soccer player. Soccer was a big thing at our school since we didn't have a football team. As I walked down the hall Amber called me over. 

"Hi Tyler." She said as Julia stayed quiet.

"Oh hi Amber." I replied hoping Julia would say hi as well.

Julia never spoke. "So when's the next game?" Amber asked.they would always go to all our games and cheer us on but that was only because they were on the cheer comittee.

"Idk I think after Prom maybe? Or maybe before." I answered.

Oh how i wish I could have the Courage to ask Julia but I'm sure she would say no. There was a rumor going around that she liked Jake. Jake did have a thing for her but he was tired of waiting so he moved on. As Jake's best friend I could tell that he wasn't over her. 

"Ohh... we will definately be there. Right Jul?" Amber asked Julia. I was hoping she would look at me and say yes, but all she did was look into her locker and say "Yeah."  I just wanted to ask her so badly if she hated me or why she never talked to me. Why do I even care? She's just another girl. She just comes to my school, all my games, and to top it all she's my neighbor.

Before i became crazy i said "Well I better get going. I don't want to be late to class again." 

I went to Ms. Chavez's class. Pre-Cal, not my favorite class but Ms. Chavez was my mentor so it was the only class that I had to worry the most about. 

"There will be new seats class." Ms. Chavez announced. 

Oh great. First i have none of my buds in this class and now i have to sit next to a stranger. i wonder who it could be. i finished my warm-up and waited until she put up the new seats. I looked for my name... ohh i sit in the last row YES!! but next to who? Julia? I grabbed my black Jansport backpack and went to my new seat. it took Julia a long time to get to her seat next to mine but once she did she didn't say a word.

Julia's POV

Oh great now i have to sit here for the next three weeks. How am i going to control my nerves? What if i say something stupid? Okay JULIA pull yourself together YOU can do this. 

I looked threw the corner of my eye to find him staring at me. OH MY GOD! Why is he staring. Should I say hi? Yeah I'll say Hi that wouldn't be weird. Once I turned to say Hi Ms. Chavez started her lecture. 

I didn't really pay attention, only until she said "You and your partner will have to work on a statistics project together. There will be no change in partners and no complaints. This is 50% of your final grade so get to know your partner really well. " She glared over at me. All I felt were my cheeks on fire. If that wasn't bad enough my phone fell out of my pocket. I reached of it but accidentally hit Tyler on the nose and he began to bleed. 

"Sorry." was the only thing i could say. 

I just made my crush bleed. Wtf is wrong with me and now i have to work with him on a project that i worth 50% of my grade? Just Great!

Ms. Chavez came over and looked atTyler's nose. She told me to take him to the bathroom and help him clean up. 

We walked out of class and the hallway was silent, all you coluld hear was our footsteps. 

Once we reached the bathroom I helped him sit down and passed him tissues. 

I finally grew the courage to talk to him. "I'm Sorry, I really didn't mean to."

"It's okay. it was just an accident." He said as he smiled. 

"Are you sure you don't want me to call the nurse?" I asked with great worry. 

"No, I'm a big boy i can take care of a nose bleed. I'll be fine." he said chuckling.

I giggled. " I don't regularly hit my new table partner on the nose on the first day." i said trying to be funny.

To my surprise he laughed like there was no tomorrow. 

"I think we should get back to class before its over." 

"Yeah, lets go." I replied as I followed him out of the bathroom. 

As we walked back into class everyone was ready to leave for 2nd period. I grabbed my things and walked out to meet all my Fantastic friends. We called ourselves the Fabulous Five. It was like our little clique it was Amber, Nora,Yasmine,Ella, and me. I meet up with them and the first thing Amber said was "Did he kiss you? Did he ask you out?" 

All the girls were confused but after Amber cleared everything up they attacked me with questions.

"Nothing happened. I helped him with his bloody nose and thats it." I replied.

"Roar! Put the claws away." said Yasmine.

"UMM they are AWAY!" I said rudely.

Amber, Ella, and Nora all OHHHed at the same time and made Yasmine look bad. 

"I'm just kidding Yasmine. I love you!!"  I said as i grabbed her tightly into a hug. 

Once the bell rang we all went out seperate ways to our classes. 

My day went on until i got home and took a small nap bit was awaken but a ring at my door. 

"UGH! who could that be?" 

I ran downstairs to open the door. 

Ohh great it had to be ...
