Chapter 13-Long ago(Part1)

Julia’s POV

How did he find me? I don’t understand. I haven’t talked to him since he left…since before I told him how much I loved and cared for him, he was my first love the guy that made me believe in love for the first time. He was also the first to break my heart and show me that not everything is perfect like in the princess movies.

“Do you remember me know?” I got another text.

I guess he was waiting for me to reply.

“How did you find out where I lived? And my phone number and how did you get into my house?” I replied in 5 seconds waiting on a fast reply.

Fuck! What if he is in town? No but he would go to my cousin’s house which was an hour away.

“Your parents were in Texas and they met up with my parents and they gave me your number because they found out I was going to spend some time in California so they gave me a key to your house… was that weird?” he replied.

“Yeah just a little…lol. So you’re in town?”

“Yeah. Can I stop by tomorrow?” He asked.

“Sure…just not in the morning… I’m going out for coffee.”

“Oh… you parents didn’t mention you had a boyfriend.”

“Oh no he’s just a friend.” I said thinking about what Tyler was going to tell me tomorrow.

“Okay see you tomorrowJ” he replied.

A smiley face from him? I had to tell someone but who? Yasmine was beyond drunk and probably in bed with Erick and Nora was probably still on the phone with Vic. Ill call Amber she was the only one who really knew at least a little about him. I didn’t really like to talk about it a lot.

I called Amber.

“Amber!! Dude I need to tell you so much!! What time are you guys coming home?” I asked.

“In a bit Ella wants to go to Harold’s house should I let her go?”

“Yeah, she’s a smart girl she isn’t going to do anything stupid… at least I hope. Let me talk to her really quickly.”

“Okay. HELLO?? Julia is that you? Hiiii!”

“Ella have you been drinking?” I asked.

“Noooo haha okay maybe a little. I’m ganna go to sleepover at Harold’s okay?”

“Okay Ella you can go, but if anything happens please use protection and do it only if you truly feel ready and that you love him.”

“Yesssss… I know I’m not 12. I’m a big girl now.”

“Okay well Ella even big girls make bad decisions. Let me talk to Harold.”

“Uhh yeah Hello.” He said.

“Harold you listen to me clearly okay. If anything and I mean ANYTHING happens to Ella it’s going to be on you. Don’t you dare go to overboard or I will personally go to your house and beat the shit out of you. You hear me?”

“Yes.” He said in a scared tone.

“Okay well have a safe night.” I said.

“I’ll be home soon Julia. Derek and I are going to take a taxi home he’s staying at Tyler’s.” Amber said.

Amber’s POV

Prom was absolutely unforgettable! Derek was such a good prom date and I am glad I didn’t have any punch because then I wouldn’t be able to remember this night.

“The taxi is here Amber.”

“Oh yeah coming let me get my purse.”

I ran inside to get my purse and I was walking back to the taxi I spotted Mark making out with a girl in a yellow dress.

“Oh shit.”

“What? Is everything okay?” Derek asked.

“Umm yeah everything is just perfect.”

“Okay good. I’m glad you had fun. I had a total blast. You are a very good dancer too.”

“Oh well thanks. You made my Prom experience very nice. I’m happy you asked me.”

“Yeah I was going to ask you a long time ago but I was scared of rejection. I had already gotten that from you long ago.” He said.

“What? When?”

“Freshman year. I was the nerd that had a crush on you but you never paid attention to me so I became a soccer player to get different girls but I guess you’re the girl for me.”

What!! He just said I am the GIRL Omg!! Okay Amber don’t panic.

“Me?”

“Yes you Amber. You. I like you like a lot.”

“OMG Derek!” I said with a smile.

“Do you like me?” he asked.

“Derek I’ve had the biggest crush on you since sophomore year of course I like you… I’m sorry I never noticed you.”

“Its fine it was a long time ago. What matters is the present.”

“Yeah you’re right.” I said with butterflies in my stomach.

“Okay we are here.” The taxi driver said.

“Thanks.” I said to the diver.

We go out of the cab and stood outside of Julia’s house.

“So you liked me all this time? But you have had girlfriends?” I asked.

“Yeah but only to try to get over you.”

“Oh.” I said putting my head down.

“But none of those relationships helped because I still have very strong feelings for you and I don’t think they will ever go away.” He said lifting me head up and as he came closer to me.

OMG is he going to kis…. Just then he pressed him lips against mine. It was AMAZING!! Fireworks! Sparks! I was so happy. I have wanted to always kiss him and now that was coming true.

“AMBER YAY YOU’RE HOME!! Opps sooorrry!! I’ll come back later.” Julia said.

I didn’t ever want to let go of Derek but I remembered that we were in a relationship or anything.

Once we stopped kissing he pulled me into a hug.

“So what does this mean now Derek?”

“ This means that you are my girl.”

I smiled and gave him a big hug. I have been waiting for him to call me his girl for such a long time.

He gave me one last kiss and walked to Tyler’s house.

Julia was staring at me as soon as I walked in.

“SOOOOO?? Are you ganna tell me what happened??” Julia said with curiosity.

“Nothing we are together now. Are those roses? Who gave them to you? Seems like you’re the one who needs to explain.

“Oh gosh… I need to tell you soooo much!!” she said.
