Chapter 14- Where are you? (Part1)

Julia’s POV

It was absolutely great being able so to see Carlos again so many great memories came to my mind. All my thoughts were all about Carlos that I had forgotten all about Tyler… which I mean, was a good thing because I only wanted to be friends with him and just that nothing more. I still couldn’t believe I turned him down, I mean I was soo in love with him but I honestly didn’t know anything about him and he certainly didn’t know anything about me either. I think that was a good decision I made… I mean the last thing I wanted to do is hurt his feelings. I still care about him but idk what I feel for him anymore.

“Well it was good seeing you again Julia. We should hang out some other time.” Carlos said.

“Yeah totally.” I said.

“She is available whenever you are.” Amber said.

OMG AMBER! This girl was so straightforward! What if Carlos was just saying that so he could leave? Omg!

“Sure how about tomorrow night?” he asked me.

“YES she can make it.” Amber answered for me before I could.

“Yeah.” I said smiling.

“Great see you then.” He said as he hugged me. I loved his hugs so much they were warm and made me feel safe.

As I walked Carlos to the door I could see Amber jumping of joy. She was more excited than I was. I think it still hadn’t sinked in that I was going to go on a date with the guy I had a crush on for 5 years!

Once Carlos had left Amber and I started jumping up and down.

“OMG you need to go shopping.” Amber told me.

“YES! Lets go!” I said.

“I really want to go with you but I have a date with Derek. It our official first date.” She said with a grin.

“It’s fine I’ll just ask one of the other girls to go with me.”

“You sure? I can still cancel on Derek.” She said.

“No I wont want you to miss you first date with Derek. Go I’ll be fine.” I said. 

“Okay. If you need any help I am just a phone call away.” She said heading out of the door.

As soon as she closed the door I got my phone out and texted all the girls. Ella was still at Harold’s and Yas was still in bed and knowing her she wouldn’t get anytime soon, especially since she was cuddling with Erick. Nora was at Vic’s family event. Ugh! I didn’t want to go shopping alone. Just then I got a text.

“Hey.” Tyler’s text said.

“HeyJ” I replied.

I started cleaning the kitchen and pictured so many outfits in my head. Ugh! Why am I so worried he has seem me in the most embarrassing clothes so I should stress a lot.

“What are you doing?” Tyler replied.

“Nothing just cleaning up the kitchen. Hbu?” I replied.

“Nothing much just at home.” He said.

Well he isn’t doing anything. Should I ask him to come with me to the mall? I mean a guy’s perspective will be nice too.

I decided to call him instead of texting him.

“Hello.” He answered.

“Hey want to go to the mall with me?”

“Uhh sure.”

“Alright. We can take my car. I’ll be over in 5 minutes.”

“Okay.” He said and I hung up.

Tyler’s POV

I wonder why she wants me to go shopping with her? Why not CARLOS! Ugh whatever we agreed on just being friends nothing more. I was looking for a shirt when I heard a honk outside. I grabbed any shirt I could find and I ran out of my house shirtless.

“Oh God. Tyler put some clothes on please. You’re not a Hollister model.” She said.

“I could be one. I mean have you seen me?” I said laughing.

She laughed. Yes! I made her laugh. Her smile and laugh were so unique and just her. It was amazing. No STOP Tyler you are just friends! JUST FRIENDS!

Once we got to the mall we went straight to Forever 21.

“Okay. Not to over the top but not to casual.” She said.

“Okay where are you going?” I asked.

“Ummm… on a date with Carlos.” She said.

I felt my heart just drop. This guy comes into her left after who knows how many years and he already got to go on a date with her.

“Oh cool.” I was beyond mad but why? I couldn’t stand him. I just didn’t like him. I want him to meet my fist! Ugh!

“Yeah.” She said as she looked threw clothes racks.

“That skirt looks nice. Try that on with a nice shirt.” I said trying not to make it obvious that I was pissed off.

“Okay. Thanks.” She said as she walked toward the dressing room.

I called Derek I couldn’t deal with this anymore.

“Hello.” Derek said.

“Derek I can’t take it anymore. I just can’t.” I said.

“Okay man. Hold on. Amber I’ll be back I’m going to the bathroom,” he said.

“Oh shit sorry man I forgot you had a date with Amber how is it going so far?”

“ Good. We just go on the boat.” He said.

“Oh okay. Never mind Derek enjoy your date I’m going to try and figure this out.” I said.

“Okay bye man. I have to go.” He said hanging up the phone.

Amber’s POV

“Who were you on the phone with?” I asked Derek.

I mean I’m not so much of the jealous type but I don’t like getting played.

“Tyler.” He replied.

“Oh sure that’s why you had to come and hide?” I said.

“No babe it’s just that he is having boy drama and he needed my advice.”

“Advice on what?”

“Girl advice. He likes this girl but she friend zoned him.” He said.

“What girl?” I said.

“I can’t tell you babe.”

“Why do you not trust me? If you don’t tell me because it can end right now.”

“No Amber baby. Tyler likes a girl but he just doesn’t know it and he refuses to tell her how he feels. And you know the girl so I can’t tell you. As much as I love you and all I can’t betray my best buds trust.” He said.

I found it so cute how him and Tyler were so close if only Julia had told Tyler then we could go on double dates and done soo much together. I would who this girl Tyler likes is?

“Oh okay babe.” I said.

“Come on lets go. Our table is ready.” He said taking me to the table on the boat.

We had dinner on a boat and special fireworks arranged just for us and the sunset was amazing as well and the stars were just as beautiful.

When the boat got back to the dock Derek disappeared.

“Derek? Derek! Derek I’m not playing where are you?” I shouted.
