A/N: I found some free time before dinner so I thought I'd update this fan fiction again. I hope y'all enjoy this chapter. Please don't forget to vote and comment. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you. Also if you're enjoying this story be sure to check out my other ones.

Destinee's POV:

It's been three years since the day Colson asked me to watch him perform for the first time. It's been three agonizing years and I'm still in the "friend zone." Three long years of watching him be with girl after girl. If only I was brave enough to tell him how I feel.

"Wish me luck." Colson said as he ran passed me onto the stage.

"Good luck." I whispered trying to smile.

It's been three years and Colson is bigger than he was when we first spoke that first time in the court yard, on that green fresh cut grass. People know who he is now, girls notice him. He goes by Machine Gun Kelly now. "Kells" for short.

I listen to the roar of the crowd as he steps up to the microphone. His angelic voice rings in my ears. I slowly tap my foot to the beat of the music trying with every finer of my being to have a good time. As the show goes on I find myself focusing on Kells. The way he moves, his blue eyes catch my own for a split second and my breath catches in my chest. He's a six foot three tattooed angel and I don't stand a chance. I sigh and turn away, I need some air.

Kells POV:

My eyes met Destinee's for only a moment but in that moment I caught all the sadness in her eyes. My heart breaks every time I see that sadness and hurt in her beautiful eyes. I miss the sparkle they once had, I know she thinks I don't notice her but that couldn't be father from the truth. I often catch myself staring at her, wishing I could just tell her how I feel. What Destinee doesn't understand is I'm no good for her. A girl like her deserves the world and I'm afraid I'd mess everything up if she got to close.

As the show came to a close I glaced over to my right expecting Destinee to be waiting in the wings. However, that wasn't the case and wasn't like her.
