Destinee's POV:
I typed my reply and nervously placed my phone on the coffee table. I have no idea what to expect. One minute Kells is kissing me and the next he drops off my radar for a week. Confusion takes over as I pull my knees to my chest and wait for the knock on my door.
Kells POV:
After hearing back from Destinee I put my phone in the pocket of my ripped up skinny jeans, grab my keys and head for the car. My mind races as I pull out of the drive way. I have so much I want, no need to say.The only problem is I'm not sure I can. I've never let anyone close to me before. Letting people in, especially a girl has never been easy. Letting someone see me....exactly as I am is terrifying.
All too soon Destinee's house came into view. I'll never forget the day I helped her move in. It was fun for the most part and a bit messy. A smile finds it's way to my lips as I think back. It was late afternoon and even though she was exhausted Destinee insisted on painting her living room. I protested but ultimately lost and began to help her paint the living room a light shade of blue. As I was painting the part of the wall she couldn't reach I felt something hit me. I spun around to see her trying to hold back laughter, blue paint all over my arm. If it was a paint war she wanted, a paint war was what she'd get.
My smile faded just as quickly as it had appeared.....I was now sitting in front of Destinee's house.
"It's now or never." I said to myself as I opened the car door.
