Arya's Point Of View.

"Madam, I heard Dr. Zeyer is married now. Do you know anything about it? I mean you two seemed close before like going together after work. But these days I haven't seen you two going together", the nurse said.

"From where did you hear that?", I asked looking surprised.

"I heard from others ", she looked clueless.

"I don't know. We aren't that close", I said.

"But I envy whoever is that lady. I mean look at Dr. Zeyer, he is so fine", she sighed.

"Hmmm...may be", I said as I was taken aback by the truth that I'm his wife. But it's same as I'm nothing to him. He doesn't even want to see my face.

It's been been almost a month, and he still tried to ignore me. Infront of our families, we pretend everything is fine, but once we come to our own space, we know nothing is fine and everything is just so messed up.

It was around 1pm, when I got the text from hospital administration. It stated that few of the doctors were send to attend the patient in a village were health care facilities are not yet developed. We were a total of 15 doctors.

A bus was arranged for us and I was seated there lost in my thoughts. Just then I heard Zeyer's voice.

"I'll be leading you all today, because it is also based on one of my research, and the director have chosen you all to conduct the health checkups in that rural area. If you encounter any difficulty let me know la", he said in a very decent and respectful way.

As he finished announcing, our eyes met and he immediately looked away and sat on the other seat which was two seats ahead.

After reaching to that place, we rested for a while and started carrying out our works. While checking, a random teenage boy who looked around 13 or 14 years old looked little suspicious. He had few cuts in his hands, which he tried to hide. His eyes says he has not been sleeping well, he looked weak and tired.

I smiled at him, and caressed his hands.

"What happened to your hands? You do works at field?", I asked.

He didn't say anything.

"Which grade are you in?", I asked again.

But he looked rather scared. I smiled at him and caressed his hair.

"Eat this pain killers if you feel pain in your hands", I handed him the medicine after treating the cuts in his hands.

"Can you go over to that place and wait for me? Only few people are left to be attended. I want to talk to you about something ", I requested that boy and he sat to the place where I told him to.

Zeyer's Point Of View.

I noticed Arya talking something with the kid more than checking his health. What is she saying?

After a while, when we were done with the things...the villagers had prepared meal for us though it was only 5pm. While scooping the food, I saw Arya taking extra side dishes and going somewhere rather than where other staffs were seated.

I thought something was not right, so I followed her. Upon reaching there, I saw her giving food to that same kid. The kid's hands were cut, so she fed him while talking and laughing. I stared at her for a while and smiled before going back to seat next to other staffs.

Narrator's Point Of View.

"Do you need more?", Arya asked to that kid.

He moved his head side wise indicating no.

She took his hands in hers and smiled at him.

"Hi, I'm Arya and as you can see I'm a doctor and my special field is Physiotherapy. Don't you think  I'm too pretty to be a doctor?", I laughed.

He looked at me for a while.

"You look only okay", he said making Arya embarrassed.

"Huh, even a small kids are honest these days", she  sighed.

"What's your name? Can you tell me about yourself?", She asked.

After few minutes of silence, the kid spoke.

"My name is Yeshi Dorji. I used to go to school, but now I don't ", he said making Arya think twice.

"Why did you stop going to school?", She asked in a concerning eyes.

"My father wants me to earn him a money so that he can drink alcohol ", his eyes welled up.

"So...is he the one who gave you these cuts?",  She asked in a sympathetic tone.

He nodded his head as the tears fell down.

"Your mother doesn't say anything?", She asked.

"They got divorce few months ago, but my father got my custody. My mother askses him everytime to send me to her, but he never lets me meet her. I miss my mother. Can you take me to her?", He cried louder.

Arya was sad hearing his story and decided to do something with that.

"Strong boys doesn't cry. It's okay, everything will be alright. I'll help you out", she said.

It was time for the bus to go back to the city. By that time it was raining since summer has already began.

Zeyer was already inside the bus when he saw Arya come and look for something in her bag pack. She pulled out one umbrella and headed outside. Zeyer looked at her through the window.

Arya went towards the kid who was standing under the shade.

"Here, take this. Don't let this umbrella fly away. It will protect you from rain. I'll come back tomorrow and set you free. Till then, you need to take care of yourself. I've talked with the head of villager, she will keep eyes on your safety", she smiled and handed the umbrella to the boy.

Zeyer looked at her through the window and wondered what was the actual case?
"I can never understand this woman", he thought in his mind.

By the time they reached back to the hospital, it was already passed 7pm. It was still raining and Arya waited outside of the hospital looking for cabs. She didn't even have umbrella now that she has given to the kid.

She thought she would call the cab, but the network was gone too. .

"You can come with me today", Zeyer's voice sounded from behind.

"Huh...?", She was not sure about what she heard.

"It's quite late and it's raining too. You can come with me. I'll give you 10 seconds. Either come or I'll leave", Zeyer said and entered his car and Arya immediately followed him.
