Chapter 13

Arya's Point Of View.

"Arya...Arya", Zeyer woke me up.

I looked at him with my puffy eyes.

"Come and have something. You haven't eaten anything since morning. I've cooked a dinner", he said.

I remained silent and looked at him.

"Don't be stubborn. Eat something and then you can sleep", he said and I stood up from the couch and headed towards the living room to have dinner.

He had set the table for dinner already.

He served the food and we ate in silence.

While we were eating in silence he cleared his throat indicating that he has something to tell me.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you", he said making me stop eating and look at him.

"This house is filled with Pema and my memories, especially that room. We have been dating for like 3 years and living together for 1 year. And now that she has disappeared from my life, I feel like my life is empty. And when I saw that frame broken, I got angry. I'm really sorry. I didn't intend to hurt you", he said.

Well, that moment I did know whether I should be happy for he opened up to me, or sad for knowing the fact that he still loves Pema.

"Hmm... it's okay. Let's eat now", I smiled.

"Can you tell me why did you change your mind that day?", He asked.

I paused for a while and decided to tell him the truth.

"Actually, I did run away that day. But I don't know how my mom knew and caught me red handedly. Then she told me, I cannot back off or run away because my father was having a loss in his business and if he was not able to pay the loans, he would be prisoned. And your parents had decided to help him. If I ran away, it would be awkward for my parents to get help from your family. So I had to chose one, and I chose my parents. I'm sorry", I said while breathing in between trying to stop my tears.

"You should have told me the day I asked you. I'm not that bad, I would have understood you", he caressed my hands.

"You came here to find her, right?", I asked.

"Hmmm", he nodded.

"You really love her, right?", I smiled.

"Yeah... Back in college, when I was doing my MBBS, she was doing business administration. She would follow me everywhere until I agreed to give it a try. Slowly, I started liking her", he smiled talking about her.

"Ummm, one month is already gone. We have 5 months to stay together now. I'll help you find her and get her back in your life", I suggested with a smile, but deep inside I wished he would love me back.

"How?", He asked.

"Ummm, I don't know...but we'll surely sort it out", I assured him and he smiled.

Zeyer's Point Of View.

THE NEXT DAY:

"Where is it?", Arya asked looking at the beach.

"Koh Lan Beach", I  said.

"Woah...I really want to see them", she sighed.

"Who?", I asked.

"My favorite BL couples", she looked around.

"What's BL?", I asked.

"You don't know that? BL stands for Boys Love, meaning two boys who are in love with each other", she smiled joyfully.
