I wasn't expecting it. I wasn't ready for it. Luke grabbed my hand and was pulling me some where. I wasn't paying attention, I was more concerned on the way his hand felt. Ruff and warm.

Once we stopped I looked up at Luke, not letting go of his hand. He didn't pull back either, he just stood looking at a tree. I look to the tree to notice the initials in it. Not initials. A name. A name I wasn't too concerned about.

"Sunshine." Luke says softly, I pull my hand back instantly. Luke looked almost disappointed but it was hard to tell. He runs his hands through his hair, letting out a loud groan. I don't know what I was thinking, I grabbed Luke, and pulled him into a hug. Luke hugged me back instantly, "I'm sorry sunshine."

"Why are you calling me sunshine?" I ask still not letting go of Luke. I wasn't too fond of the name after the nightmare.

"Because, in this shitty camp. You're the only real one. You're not affected by the Gods, and definitely not by other people." I smile at Luke. He's right, I wasn't claimed. My father neglected me, the other god did to.

"Have you imagined a world without God?" Luke says more excited.

"Luke stop with this nonsense, they are Gods. Monsters don't even really die." Luke's face didn't change but I could tell he was hurt. I don't know where he got this from but he needed to stop. If the Gods were to find out.

"Yeah. It was only a dream." He runs his hand through his hair again. He smiled at me warmly.

"Luke, I'm always on your side. But this?" I pause seeing the way Luke was looking at me. "I don't want to see you get hurt."

"Wow. Sereia is worried about me?" Luke says playfully, "Please do this for me."

I look at Luke confused before grabbing his hand again. I smile at him and nod my head. Luke was more calm now, before we came to the woods he was upset.

"So I won't see you until?" I ask as I walk through the woods. Still holding Luke's hand.

"Probably 5 months."

"You're so gonna miss me." I say playfully. Luke laughs and nods his head.

"Yeah I will." I grab Luke through the woods before stopping by a lake.

"Sounds like you have a crush." Luke's head turns to me quickly, I raise an eyebrow.

"Nah." My chest felt a pain run through it. I didn't like it, I dont this the feeling. Why was I feeling it? Because Luke said he didn't like me like that?

"Fine I'll find someone at this academy." I shrug my shoulders. I felt Luke's eyes on me, I turn to face him.

"You wouldn't dare." I laugh at Luke. I don't know how long, Luke insisted that we needed to go back. Apparently about the review on the little mission I'm going on.

"Callestan. Sereia!" Silena says as we walk into the room. I've never been in here before, the room was gorgeous. The table had all 12 cabins names. I look around the table, I notice I had my own little name tag. I smile as I walk to my seat.

"Now that everyone is here. Shall we start this?" Demeter child says, Feyra Collins. I frown at her, she wasn't the nicest.

"Yeah." Classire snaps back. I smile at that.

"We are here to go into detail about Nerrisa's mission." Will says. I clench my jaw at the name. Nobody calls me Nerrisa. The room feels with tension, everyone knew. Never call me Nerrisa.

"Her name is Sereia, Will." Luke says with a warm smile. Everyone was tense, nobody wanted to say the wrong thing now.

  "So basic we are sending Jones, to the kids academy for her to watch him? Isn't that a saytrs job?" Will questions.

"It is but Chiron requested her." Dionysus speaks up, I jump at his voice. He had a deep voice that reminded the of the voice in the dream.

"I thought Luke said she would do it." Adeline speaks up.

"He said something about it this morning." He says while shaking his hand at her.

"So she no longer can decide now? Like her free will is gone?" Silena questions.

"Wow, that one say to put it." I say while leaning back in the chair. Luke side eyes me before taking a deep breath.

"So she leaving tomorrow?" Luke says slowly.

"Yeah." Dionysus says while drinking is Diet Coke.

"So Nerissa Jones will be the temporary protector of," Will pauses as he looks through the papers in front of him. Will was the youngest of the counselors so he wasn't very organized. "Perseus Jackson."

No one spoke instead looked at me, they knew I was furious. Nobody calls me Nerissa, not once, definitely not twice. I look to Luke, and he nods his head.

"Yeah." Luke says before I can kill Apollo's child. Everyone gets up and chat a bit.

"You okay?" Luke asks as he looks at Will. Will looked confused for a moment then his head shot to my direction. Adeline was standing beside him, she probably said something to him.

"Yeah." I sigh. Luke put his hand on my shoulder and smiles at me. I smile back before leaving him.

Tomorrow I would be starting at school. I've never been to a school before, I wonder what it's like.

The next chapter is gonna be fast paced, so we can get Luke and Sereia back together.
