Chapter 6

To our surprise, Jakotsu and Renkotsu were already awake.

"We heard you two from here." Renkotsu said.

Jakotsu was rubbing his eyes sleepily.

"He heard you. I was sleeping peacefully 'til Renkotsu decided to wake me up to hear you guys flirting..." Jakotsu grumbled.

"It was just playful banter. Flirting is a bit of a stretch." I shook my head.

Bankotsu handed the letter to Renkotsu.

"Turns out our client is planning to stab us in the back, literally and figuratively." Bankotsu said simply.

"And you want me to come up with a plan?" Renkotsu asked.

"Well...not exactly, just a few...or maybe more than a few words of advice...a little bit of input here...and then I'll come up with the rest." Bankotsu said.

"You want me to come up with a plan." Renkotsu sighed.

"Yes." Bankotsu nodded.

Jakotsu also took a gander at the letter.

"How'd you get this, Big Brother?" Jakotsu asked.

"I didn't. Y/n did." Bankotsu said.

"Really?! You're amazing, Sis!" Jakotsu gasped.

Suikotsu stirred in his sleep.

"Shut the...hell up Jakotsu..." He grumbled as he repositioned himself to where his foot rested on Mukotsu's head.

"How did you manage such a feat? I couldn't even sneak in..." Renkotsu asked with a shocked expression on his face.

I explained to him how I acquired the letter, and a devilish smirk appeared on his face.

"I believe we have a plan." Renkotsu said.

I did NOT appreciate the way he was looking right now.

The rest of the members were finally awake and caught up to speed.

Suikotsu was currently the only one suffering from a hangover due to how much he drank, and also because he reverted to his other personality. He was so sweet when he was the doctor man.

"Suika-Kun, drink this. It's an elixir for...headaches such as yours." I whispered to him.

It was really just a mix of water and herbs that helped clear the stomach of impurities, which would aid in him getting over his hangover.

"Thank you, Miss Y/n." Suikotsu smiled and happily drunk the elixir.

I then picked up his food and tried to feed him, but he kept turning his head away.

"You need to eat to lessen the pain." I grumbled.

"But Miss Y/n, it hurts to speak, I can't fathom how painful it would be to eat!" Suikotsu cringed as I kept trying to force feed him as gently as I could.

"Anyways, instead of nursing that thing over there, come help us find a girl to put you in a more sexy outfit for the plan!" Jakotsu sneered at Suikotsu.

"Why can't I just go up to him and kill him?! I'm a demon!" I growled, irritated at this idiotic plan and Suikotsu's refusal to eat his breakfast.

"And from your deductions earlier, he may be as well, we need more information, and if you continue to seduce him, we'd be able to gain far more intel on his plans and, if we're lucky enough, his weaknesses." Renkotsu said.

"I think we can kill one measly demon, Renkotsu." Kyokotsu spoke from outside.

"He's a daiyokai." I said.

"And we have no clue what the other emperor may be." Renkotsu said.

"This is the most logical course of action, and we need your cooperation, Y/n." The bald man added.

I rolled my eyes, placing Suikotsu's plate down, he was very adamant on not eating, it seemed.

"Fine. You idiots owe me if I get defiled." I said and grabbed Shiryu. I imbedded some of my energy within it and handed it to Jakotsu.

"You're giving it to me? I can keep it?!" Jakotsu gasped.

"Course not. I imbued it with my energy, now you can communicate with me via the naginata, just touch it and call out to me." I said.

Jakotsu ran his fingers along the blade.

"Y/n!" He called.

My head rung, the ringing was intense in my ears and I clutched my head and groaned.

"Not while I'm in close proximity!" I seethed, my fangs extending as I glared at Jakotsu.

"Okay, sorry!" Jakotsu giggled.

"You said you'd give him your answer today right? Well, hurry along, we'll save you breakfast." Renkotsu shooed me away.

"I don't need to eat human food." I frowned.

"Take care of Suikotsu while I'm away, make sure he eats so he can feel like his normal sweet self." I said as I was pushed out of the hut.

"Yeah, yeah. We're gonna bring him back to normal." Renkotsu said.

"Great, I'm sure his headache is killing him." I smiled.

"GINKOTSU! GET THAT SWORD AWAY FROM ME!" Mukotsu exclaimed.

"Ah yes, and we'll get rid of that headache." Renkotsu smiled and before I could respond he closed the door.

I grumbled as I marched my way back to the castle and quickly maneuvered to the emperor's room.

I never knew the bastard's name, didn't care to ask and he wasn't kind enough to give it either.

"Your Grace." I called as I opened his door.

"My little lamb! I thought you'd never return!" He exclaimed and quickly turned to me.

"Why, whatever gave you that idea?" I asked in a flat tone.

"Well, I suddenly fell asleep on you before I could truly show you how much I adored you, you must have been disappointed and embarrassed with me. I would not have wanted to come back if I were in your shoes." The man said.

I decided to switch up my persona, switching to the seductive temptress I was trained to become initially.

I twirled my fingers along the fabric of my kimono, and allowed it to fall, exposing my shoulders and the top of my breasts.

"I could never feel disappointed with a man such as yourself, Your Grace~. The reason I came back was in fact...because I realized how much I loved you...and how much I wanted to be with you." I spoke in a sickeningly slow and sultry tone.

"Oh, you tempt me, my little lamb~."

I was quickly in front of him, twirling my fingers along his chest, he was actually quite muscular to my surprise.

His hands grabbed my waist.

"I take it this is your answer? You'll stay with me?" He asked.

I smiled.

"Of course, Your Grace."

His claws elongated, and he finally showed his true form.

"Even when I look like this?"
