Ink strolled towards the doorway of the school. Everyone was gathered together in groups, chatting excitedly. Something was going on, but what? He tried to listen in on any of the conversations to find out, but all of the overlapping voices were hard to distinguish from each other. Ugh... whatever's happening, why does everyone know except me?
"Ink!!" A familiar voice called out his name, which caused him to turn his head. There Hu Tao was, on a course straight towards him. She grabbed him by the shoulders, clearly very excited. "Did you hear about the new transfer student?!"
"No..? What's going on?"
"The Furina Fontinalia transferred to our school!"
"Wait... that one French teen actress? She's here?! Why? Isn't she supposed to be in France?"
"She's taking a break from her career to focus on her studies. Rumor has it, she's considering joining Heizou's detective club!"
Ink's eyes widened in shock. "The detective club?! Why? I'm in that club! Oh my Archons, am I going to meet a movie star? Hopefully she's not pretentious.."
Hu Tao nodded enthusiastically. "If you two become friends, you have to introduce me! She's the star of my favorite horror film! That one Marie Antoinette reimagined story? The Queen's Guillotine?"
"Yeah... you forced me to watch it and I had nightmares for a week." Ink shuddered at the thought of the movie. "Never again, Hu Tao. But yeah, if I do become friends with her, I'll definitely introduce you."
