Elena Sonne sits at her desk, looking at a picture of an escaped prisoner named Zack Pearson aka The Back Alley Skinner. He's known as the worst serial killer of 2011. A voice behind her asks, " Is that a new case?" She turns around and meets the new agent , Alexandra Blake. " No, it's an old one and I still don't know how this man escaped."
Alex sits next to her and says, " You know it's wasn't your fault and you couldn't have known he would escape."
"Thanks but it kind of is. Maybe he planned this whole thing out before he got arrested. Either way, I'm going to find him before he hurts anyone else." Elena sighs and closes the notebook she's been reading. "I need to go home and sleep. I'm exhausted. It was nice meeting you Agent Blake. See you tomorrow?"
Alex smiles. "Sure and get home safe."
It's a long walk to the metro station and Elena is so tired she decides to check in to a nearby hotel to get some sleep. The lady at the front desk is super nice and has upgraded her room to a suite. She walks into the room and falls asleep on the soft bed.
The next morning Elena gets a phone call from her boss asking her where she is. It's 11:04 AM and she overslept. With no time to get breakfast or change clothes, Elena darts out the door to checkout and head to work.
Agent Hotchner asks," You're late. Is everything alright?"
"Yes. I was so tired that I overslept. It won't happen again. I couldn't get home so I stayed at a hotel where my mom works."
"It's not a problem. I know you're concerned about the escaped serial killer Zack. As Blake said, it wasn't your fault."
"Thanks Hotch, but that doesn't make things any easier. I'll be on time I promise."
Elena leaves the office and Derek Morgan walks up to her. "You all right?" He asks, as he puts his hand on her shoulder. "I'm fine." She replies. Everyone in the room is looking at her with a sympathetic look and she sees them when she walks to her desk. Not only does the team have to catch The Back Alley Skinner, The Replicator is another one that they need to catch.
Little does Elena know, she's in grave danger.
