The house shakes and Steve and Stephanie duck under a table. The house shakes for a minute then all of the electricity goes out. Something horrible has happened. Another explosion in the city. They both immediately get in the car and drive off to where the explosion occurred. HPD, Danny, Kono, Chin, Lou and the bomb squad are already on the scene investigating.
"What the hell's going on?" Steve asked looking around. "Car bomb." Danny says. "Approximately five people have been arrested. We're assuming they're just witnesses but we don't know for sure."
Steve, looking irritated at Danny walk over to the crime scene and takes a look. "You're right." He says. Danny, looking amused, looks around while pointing at himself says, "Steve said I'm right."
"Oh stop gloating." Kono says while she and Stephanie hold in a laugh and Steve smiles.
"Hey Steve! Looks like part of the device landed over here!" Chin says. Steve gets up and he and Stephanie walk over to where he is. He's right but it's a much bigger issue than they all thought.
"Alright, let's get everyone in a two block radius evacuated in case there's any chance there might be another explosion." Steve said. "Danny and I will go inside to do a secure search."
"I'm going in there? With you? What, are you fucking crazy?" Danny follows him into the building. Meanwhile, everyone is being evacuated to a shelter until the area is safe for them to return.
Steve and Danny are clearing each floor, each room, looking for anyone who might be hurt or if there's anything else missed. They open a door and there's a man, gunshot wounds to the face and chest, tied to a chair. They both look at each other thinking the same thing. This isn't good. They need to get out now!
A phone rings in the dead man's hand. Steve answers. "Hello? Who's there?" The other voice at the end? "BOOM!" The entire building collapses with Steve and Danny inside it.
