Chapter 2-Passing Final Selection

After seven days of final selection have finally past, (Y/N) was standing in a courtyard with four other people. There were three boys and one girl. The first boy had reddish hair and eyes. Wearing a sky blue with clouds kimono, with a bloody bandage wrapped around his forehead. The second boy had yellow hair with orange tips, with light brown eyes. Wearing a yellow and faded orange kimono with white triangles. The third boy had a spikey black haired mohawk with sharp black eyes. Wearing a purple and grey kimono that was slightly unbuttoned. And finally the girl, she had black hair that was in a side ponytail with a butterfly pin, wearing light and hot pink kimono.

As all of them were waiting, two children walked out from either side and met in the middle. One with white hair the other with black hair and they both had pale violet eyes. They faced the trainees. 

Girl 1: "Congratulations. We're pleased to see your safe."

(Y/N) watched the girls with a gentle smile, but that smile quickly faded away when the boy with spikey black haired mohawk spoke up.

Boy 3: "So, I made it back alive... What do I do now? Where's my sword?"

(Y/N) glared at the boy.

(Y/N): "Who do you think you are? Their going to explain it you idiot."

As (Y/N) thought this, she kind of hoped that is would have come out of her mouth and not just in her mind, but then the girls began to answer the boy. 

Girl 1: "Patience. We must first issue you all uniforms. We'll start by taking your measurements. Next, your rank will be engraved on the back of your hand."

Then the second girl began to speak.

Girl 2: "In reference, there are ten ranks in total."

Girl 1: "Kinoe."

Girl 2: "Kinoto."

Girl 1: "Hinoe."

Girl 2: "Hinoto."

Girl 1: "Tsuchinoe."

Girl 2: "Tsuchinoto."

Girl 1: "Kanoe."

Girl 2: "Kanoto."

Girl 1: "Mizunoe."

Girl 2: "Mizunoto."

Girl 1: "You all start at Mizunoto, this is the lowest rank in the demon slayer corp." 

(Y/N) nodded in understanding at what the girls were explaining to everyone. She was about to ask a question but then the same boy as before began to talk again.

Boy 3: "And our swords?"

(Y/N) glared at him again and this time she didn't hold back on her words and let them fall out of her mouth.

(Y/N): "Hey tough guy... Why don't you shut up and let them finish talking. Their going to explain it, so how about you take their advice and learn some patience for once."
