Jin's POV

I waited outside Red Velvet's door the next day. But only Seolhyun came out.

"Ah," said Seolhyun. "Irene? She's taking care of Wendy. She's sick. And it's weird. She kept yelling if I touched her phone."

"Seolhyun," I said. "Could you, uhm, give Irene these flowers? And please, please don't say that I gave it. Just give it to her."

"Give me what?" Irene's voice shocked me. "Were you guys bad mouthing me? I'll kill you, Kim Seokjin."

"No," I said, hiding the flowers. "I, uhm, just asked Seolhyun about yesterday's homework."

"Haha," said Irene. "Nice try, but Seolhyun isn't in the same class as you. Remember? Because of your bad grades, you got into the last class."

We went to school together. Turned out that Wendy's fever wasn't as serious, so she agreed to come to school tomorrow.

"Jin," said Jackson. "I.. heard you're in the same team as Wendy. I don't know what kind of team it is, but what happened to her?"

"Oh," I said. "She's in the same F-"

Irene came out of nowhere and literally shut my mouth. I looked at her in shock.

"Wow," I said. "I thought you said we were nothing anymore. But you made skinship with me. Do you still like me?"

"What?" Jackson said. "You guys were a couple or something? Oh my."

"By the way," said Irene. "Wendy is just one of Jin's best buddies. No group. And she has a fever."

"I've gotta go," said Jackson. "Jin. Do me a favour and tell the teacher that I didn't even come to school. No, just tell her that I have a fever too. Bye."

He just rushed out as if he was chased by a dinosaur. But oh well. My seatmate was as weird as always.

Irene's POV

I couldn't stand looking at Xiumin looking at me with that fierce eyes of his.

"Yah," said Jungkook. "Bae Irene, what the heck are you doing? Stop staring at Xiumin. He has an eye disease. You'll get infected."

"Xiumin," said Yeri. "Someone told me that someone's friend's mother's son's aunt's daughter has a crush on you. And guess who?"

"It is...." Jungkook imitated the sound of drum rolls. "Wendy! Wow, just congrats on dating!"

Since Xiumin was one of the hot boys at school, the news spread in a matter of minutes.

I didn't even know I was added into the school's chatting room. Then, someone familiar started showing up.

Kim Taeyeon: Yah, I heard that Xiumin from class 3-B and Wendy are dating!

Im Yoona: Wow, daebak. I just hope something interesting happens like Yuri's case.

Kim Hyoyeon: I'll spread this to the school's board.

Me: Yahhh!!!!! Do you guys wanna die! You didn't even tell me you went to this school! Tiffany ran away before I could ask questions! Come and see me right away!

Tiffany Hwang: Sorry..

During recess time, they literally received scolding from me. I knew I acted like an ahjumma, but whatever.

"Guys," I said. "Sorry for screaming at you guys. But if something happens to you guys, I'm the one to blame."

"Irene," said Jin. "I don't wanna bother your ahjumma session, but I have something important to tell you."

He dragged me out of my class. I hated the canteen, but he brought me there. All the other students were watching us.

"Irene," said Jin. "I've just got a call from Wendy."

"So?" I said. "What's so important other than her having a fever?"

"A thief broke into your house and stole a gun."
