My Experience with the Mob talker mod (Heroinebrine edition)

Chapter 16: Fluffy?

Within the cave, I could barely see my surroundings and the occasional cave noise just put me even more on edge. But I couldn't let that stop me from finding Heroinebrine.

As my journey into the depths seemed to be endless, a small quake ruptured through the earth for a few seconds: probably from Mr. Ram and Vladicus. Just then, a light flashed before my eyes and in the midst of it I could see what would be a figure.

"Heroinebrine!" I shouted out as I rushed towards the figure, but as I got closer I noticed that the figure seemed to have out numbered me in size and was also very hairy.

I froze in my tracks, realizing what was the figure now turning its big burly body in my direction: its black eyes stared at me menacingly, it breathed heavily in a pattern, its fur resembled of Heroinebrine's hair but sadly it was a bear.

The bear began to stand on its hind legs and towered over me tenfold, it was at this moment I realized I should have considered the chance that a bear could've been in this cave.

The las thing I saw before I shut my eyes was the bear raising its giant paw in the air, probably about to slap me into next Tuesday. Just then, a very familiar voice echoed in the air.

"Gertrude!" The feminine voice shouted out, which caused the grizzly to jump a bit and return to its four-legged stance, "What were you about to do?"

The bear slowed turned towards Heroinebrine and began to whimper quietly to her. She had a serious face that could make anyone whimper, even a bear. But the seriousness faded as she returned to her bubbly attitude.

"I see you and fluffy have already been acquainted to." Heroinebrine said scratching the ear of 'fluffy' who just seemed to be enjoying it.

"Fluffy?" I replied in a questioning tone.

"Thats the nickname I gave her." She replied ceasing her massage and making her way towards me.

"Why Fluffy?" I asked when my hand was suddenly entangled in another smaller hand.

"Because her fur is fluffy." She replied with a cheery smile to follow.

Now that everything has settled down, I had finally remembered why I came down here in the first place. I turned Heroinebrine towards me, place my hands onto her shoulders and looked at her with a serious face.

"Heroinebrine, we have to get out of here." I started in the most serious voice I could make, "We are in danger and we need to go."

"But why?" Heroinebrine asked her eyes widening a bit, "Wheres Grand Pu?"

"He is at the mouth of the cave fighting Vladicus." I replied which I was now face-to-face with a very pale Heroinebrine. Well, more than usual pale...

"They found me..." Heroinebrine uttered as her shoulders began to tremble, "I dont want to be the next ruler of the throne."

Heroinebrine began to sob and strands of tears trickled down her face. Just then, I embraced myself to Heroinebrine with a tight hug that wrapped around her completely.

"You dont have to be the ruler if you dont want to." I started in a quiet tone, "I will be by your side no matter what happens. If someone tries to force you to do something you dont want to do, then point them out to me and I would make them regret it."

Heroinebrine stood in my grasp for a few seconds, then wrapped her arms around me. Another small quake from before ruptured and dust fell from the ceiling: fluffy seemed to have been worried about what was happening up there.

"We should go now." I said which got a nod from Heroinebrine who proceeded to walk to Fluffy and wrap her arms around the bears head.

"I am going now, now stay safe and dont pick anymore fights with porcupines." Heroinebrine told the bear which it just rubbed its head into Heroinebrine and walked deeper into the cave, out of our sight.

This moment felt so heart-warming I had to wipe an imaginary tear from my eye. Heroinebrine noticed this and gave me one of her genuine smiles.

"Lets get a move on, before you start wailing like a baby." Heroinebrine said once again entangling her hand into mine and walking to the side of me to the surface.
