Chapter 19: The Phantom And The Berserk...

My eyes fluttered open but I didn't feel like I slept for a long time. But what also gave it away that I hadn't woken up was that I was standing in the middle of no where and my body was all ghost like.

I looked around a bit and mostly saw nothing but mountains, dirt and... a bright light shinning out of a giant crater. I don't know what compelled me to go over there and see what was causing this light but I went anyway.

This is your planet's future...

As I drew nearer to this light, I could feel some sort of force pushing my weight down.

This is your love one's end...

It felt like every step I took just kept getting harder and harder to just walk.

This is the end of you...

What was inside of this crater? My body felt exhausted and I just wanted to fall over and lie down but something in my mind was urging me to go and see whats in that crater. My vision started to get blurry as I closed in to the hole and I swear I started to hear to what might be crying of some sort.

And then...

My eyes fluttered open abruptly. My body felt like it was on fire and I was sweating like crazy. I sat up from my bed but quickly realized that I couldn't move. I raised the covers and, to my surprise, Heroinebrine had cuddled up onto my chest sleeping peacefully. Seeing her sleep like this was so adorable makes me want to stay like this forever but I gotta go to the bathroom to release the flood gates.

Slowly but surely, I slid her off of me but found it a little difficult when she wouldn't let go of my shirt. I finally freed myself and made my way to the bathroom. I entered the door and flipped the light switch on, I was taken aback by the surprise of my own image within the mirror: my hair was in complete disorder; my clothes looked like they hadn't been washed in like forever; a couple cuts and scars here and there. Its only been maybe two days and I look this bad. Wow...

As I finished my business in the bathroom and walked out of the door, I thought I saw some sort of movement by the window. As I drew closer to the window to inspect it, I could hear what seems to be rustling from the bed which I turned my attention to see Heroinebrine rising from her sleeping position and rubbing her eyes groggily.

"What time is it Lan?" Heroinebrine asked proceeding to yawn a bit.

"Its about 3 a.m."

"It feels like time moves slower in this world than mine..." She replied, replacing her head onto the pillow, "But your world is much more fun than mine."

I returned to my bedside and ravished myself into the sheets. Movement on the bed could be heard which I assume was Heroinebrine making her way to me. She began playing with my hair a bit.

"I can't believe all of this has happened to us in just the span of two days?" 

"I can't either, but I am just glad that I can share these days with you and GrandPu." Heroinebrine stated, "I wonder how he is doing inside of his room by himself?"

"I'll go check on him right now." I said getting up from my comfortable rest, quite reluctantly actually.

"Aaaww, ok..." She replied falling onto her back into the bed and snuggling into the sheets, "Hurry back."

"I will." I assured her as I stepped out of the doorway into the hall.

The corridor down to Mr. Ram's room which was on the opposite side of the building so it was quite a walk. As I walked down the corridor, every so often I would get this weird feeling that I was being watched which caused me to keep looking over my shoulder.

As I neared Mr. Ram's room, I had this strange feeling in my left foot which escalated up to my thigh then to my lower body until it reached to my upper body. I felt like my entire body had fallen asleep at once. I fell to the ground, unable to move any part of my body.

"Whats happening to me?" 

"Poor boy..." A mysterious female voice stated.

With much effort I had left, I turned my head off to the side to see a pair of leather heels. 

"Marza, don't try to use your 'seduction' powers on this one, he is the princess' fiance." A new male voice stated as I could see that my face was starting to get farther away from the ground.

I was abruptly turned to be face to face with two odd individuals. The one on the right, who wore those heels, wore a leather camouflaged jacket, black animal skin pants and wore a hoodie that you see those guys in Egyptian movies wear; her eyes seemed to just float within a dark space inside the hoodie. The one on the left wore what seemed to be a torn up dark grey suit with a wrapping of an absurd amount of gauge over his face; in between the openings of the sloppily wrapped gauge were two white soulless eyes.

"Who are you people?" I asked, trying my best not to let the fear show in my words.

"You wont have to worry about that anymore, since we are taking the princess back." The lady named Marza stated, "As well as Ram, right Argus?"

"That is the plan." Argus stated turning my attention to Mr. Ram's room which was instantly broken down by a giant mass of something bringing it down.

With further inspections, I noticed that the giant mass wore some sort of metal which looked really familiar.

"Vladicus?!" 

"I see you remember me." Vladicus stated, flopping over another much smaller mass in front of him. I saw that the figure lying on the floor wore some sort of strange fabric, my face went completely pale when I realized who it was, "I see you noticed this disappointing excuse for a Brine."

My mind was going a million miles a second for everything that is going on right now. Then, my heart felt like it had sink into my feet as I heard the voice of a certain Brine.

"Lan..."
