Jimin made his way down a familiar yet unfamiliar path as the stars twinkled into view above him. After having gone back to Seokjin's house to talk about the recently imposed deadline, Jimin had been adamant when he told them he would go to meet them alone. He had a feeling they wouldn't listen to him — especially since they had all clambered into the car like it was a clown car to come with him — but he appreciated the fact that they at least tried to look as if they would listen.

Turning behind him right as he got to the edge of the rocks that he had first clambered up when he had arrived in this world what felt like forever ago, Jimin tried to make out where they might be hiding in the darkness. They were doing a good job at hiding though. He couldn't see them at all. For the first time since he had tried to drown himself, he felt that feeling again, aching in his very core. He felt alone.

Looking down the edge of the rocks he had climbed up and at the midnight blue water that lapped along them, Jimin noticed the shadow of a person standing below, figuring that must be the person he had been sent to meet.

Carefully picking his way down the rocks, he kept his eyes on them. They never turned around the whole time he was making his way down. The closer Jimin got though, the more the moonlight illuminate the other's features. Even with their back turned, Jimin could tell the person he was inching closer to was a woman due to her delicate hourglass figure, her hair cascading in waves down her back.

'Her hair is just as wavy as Arielle's used to be,' thought Jimin when he finally finished making his way down.

"I've come alone like you've asked," said Jimin as his feet finally rested in the sand at the bottom of the rocks. "Now you need to keep your end of the deal and let Prince Namjoon go."

The confidence he had tried to build up in himself soon disappeared completely when the woman turned around to face him. His breath caught in his throat as he looked at her face. It was like seeing a ghost.

It was none other than Arielle.

'I have to be dreaming,' Jimin thought as he closed his eyes. He knew he had a lot on his plate currently. Maybe his mind was playing tricks on him, making him see Arielle's face on that of the enemy since she had gone and broken his heart.

"Hi, Jimin. It's nice to see you again."

Jimin opened his eyes when he realized that this person before him not only had her face but her voice. His eyes locked with hers, remembering how her heartbreak had been the final straw that had driven him over the edge.

"What are you doing here?"

"I made a mistake," she said.

"A mistake?"

Arielle nodded, a small, sad smile flickering across her lips.

"I didn't mean it when I said 'I pitied you'. I meant to say I pitied your situation and it was because of my blunder that - instead of getting comforts in the arms of your lover - you got comfort in the cold arms of the sea."

"I'm fine without you," said Jimin even though he couldn't stop his heart from beating faster at seeing her. She had been his world and the only good thing he had in his life after his mother was murdered. He couldn't disassociate himself from all those feelings instantly even though he now had Henley.

Henley. He was brought back to the conversation they had just had a few hours ago. She had said the 'l' word. Was she falling for him? Was he falling for her or was he still stuck on this woman right in front of him?

"I'm truly sorry, Jimin," said Arielle, breaking him out of his thoughts. "I want you back. Can we start over?"

"Can you see anything?"

"Maybe I could if you'd stop talking for a minute..." muttered Seokjin.

Seokjin had brought a pair of binoculars with him from the country house and was currently trying to see who the mysterious person was who wanted to meet them for the exchange, but unfortunately couldn't due to all the rocks. It also didn't help that Taehyung was like an annoying leach he couldn't get rid of, making him have a hard time focusing.

"Didn't know sight had anything to do with your ears," remarked Taehyung.

"You're about to learn to fly..." said Seokjin as he paused when he saw a movement from the underbrush nearby.

Two figures emerged from the night as if born of it themselves. Sandwiched between them was Namjoon. Each of the frightened looking men held him up by one arm since he currently appeared to be unconscious. Seokjin didn't hesitate upon seeing his cousin. He shoved the binoculars at Taehyung's chest before quickly clambering down from his hiding place to run to him. Seokjin barely managed to catch Namjoon before his slack body hit the ground as the men let go of their hold of him.

"What happened to him?" Seokjin demanded to know. The question hung unanswered in the air as the two utterly terrified men ran back off into the underbrush from which they had emerged.

Seokjin was about to give chase to them, but Namjoon seemed to have a regained consciousness as he reached up to grab him by the forearm.

"Don't..." said Namjoon. "We have a bigger problem to deal with right now..."

"What's that?" asked Seokjin, hearing the sound of Hadley, Hobi, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Yoongi approaching from behind.

"Jimin...where's Jimin?" asked Hadley in a slight panic as she went towards the edge of the cliff and looked towards the water. From where they had been hiding, she had seen him go down the rocky cliff but he hadn't come back up.

"Arielle took him with her..." said Namjoon, answering her question instead of Seokjin's. "She took him back home and has opened the portal between our world and his old one..."

No one had time to question what that would mean for them as the ground beneath them began to shake. Hobi moved to grab Henley by the waist just as she was about to topple over the cliff she stood near. The ocean water that had been calm mere moments before was slowly becoming more turbulent by the second as a swirling vortex started to form. It looked a lot like a whirlpool as it gathered the water together, lightning flashing from the depths of it.

"What's going on?" asked Henley as they all watched as people started to emerge from the recently formed water vortex as if they were raising from their watery graves.

"War..." muttered Namjoon from behind them all.
