I was in class with some students and Professor Port. The main cast was nowhere to be seen. They must be late. The Huntsman Regulation and Laws class would start in a minute, and it was almost nine.

Didn't Professor Ozpin tell me that they were waiting for me? As I pondered this, the door burst open, and the entire main cast rushed in, tumbling over each other as the bell rang. Their sudden entrance was quite a surprise.

"NOT LATE!" Ruby yelled.

Professor Port laughed as he told all of them to head into their seats.

"This class is crucial for understanding their profession's legal and ethical aspects. Huntsmen occupy a legal gray area between mercenaries and law enforcement. Their primary duty is to combat Grimm in any environment, whether rural or urban.

They can also serve as emergency responders or aid workers during Grimm invasions of remote villages. Private or public entities can hire them to act as police or military advisers.

In some cases, they can even work as mercenaries. This gives them a lot of flexibility but also a lot of danger," Professor Port explained.

How interesting to learn. I always thought of huntsmen as practical superheroes. I never knew it went to this extent.

"To explain this more fully, hunters can operate in several different configurations, from lone wolves to organized platoons and echelons, depending on the job at hand.

And as a huntsman, it's preferable that you have a semblance. This class will serve to help you discover your semblance.

Semblances are superhuman abilities developed by a person's innate aura. They are relatively unique to the person, as they reflect their soul.

If you have a semblance already, don't fray. This class will also help to better utilize it as well with other conjugations with another huntsman," he added.

I'm not sure something like my semblance could be improved on. It may be considered rare and valuable, but it's basic, to say the least. What did he mean by "it reflects the soul," though? Why would I want to see the future?

I would prefer something like shadow or blood manipulation, which sounds incredible and powerful! Or, since I'm quiet, could I have stealth abilities?

Things like Weiss's glyphs are versatile and can be used in all situations.

"Ruby, what are you dozing off for? Pay attention to the class for god sake," Weiss said.

"I see no need. Our entire team already unlocked our semblance and knows it. If there's improvement, we would have done so already." Ruby responded.

Weiss was about to lash at her but held back as she glanced at me.

"Hey Ruby, I believe you have the potential to be a great huntsman. It's not just about fighting, but also about understanding the world around you. I know you can do it if you put in the work."

Ruby focused as she listened to what I said despite her nature, "I'm...I'm sorry about that, Weiss."

"...It's fine, Ruby," Weiss responded.

I'm glad that I could have helped their friendship develop instead of the negativity that existed between them in the beginning, even if it was small.

Professor Port smiled as he praised me for my efforts in managing my students, saying that Ozpin was suitable to have chosen me.

Despite their combat experience, there is still much room for improvement in Team RWBY. Ruby's semblance, for instance, allows her to travel at high velocity, leaving a trail of rose petals. It's unique, but there's potential for further development.
