Chapter 24: Tomoka's side 5

The next day I was waiting for her in the game again.

„(Hello.)"

„(Hello. It is nice to meet you here again.)"

„(How do you know Sayaka? She was absolutely clueless about you.)"

She suddenly asked me about my relationship with Tachibana Sayaka. Of course I couldn't tell her the truth and so I tried to look clueless again.

„(Really? Maybe she already forgot about me. Can you give me her email address?)"

„(Sorry. I can't reveal any personal info about other employees.)"

„(Ahh... I see...)"

(Ahh... she is so loyal employee... I really can't let anyone to lure her away from... me.)

„(But you can send a letter to the company and specify her name there.)"

(This is very good idea.)

„(That is a good idea. I will do that, thanks.)"

„(No problem.)"

Arisa... or Kathy then wanted to buy a weapon and so we visited one of the weapon shops we saw the other day. She bought a long staff... something like Bo in real life... or as a broom. Does she really like cleaning that much?

To raise her chances in fights I then showed her a few fighting techniques... or to be more concrete... I explained to her what keys she needs to press to move in ways she wants.

It was one very nice date.

The next day I decided to contact Sayaka via a letter as Arisa suggested me.

„(Hello... Akihara Tomoka here. Pretend that it is a letter from Riana and immediately come to my office!)"

I wrote just as few lines as was necessary and brought it down to the hands of economics department's secretary and instructed her what I expect her to do.

(knock, knock)

„Please, come in."

Few minutes later, Tachibana Sayaka arrived into my room on the second floor.

„Sit down please and let me explain what I require from you."

„What I tell you here is a secret just between us. Don't tell it to anyone else or heads will roll."

It seems, that it startled her a bit.

„But if you help me, you will be generously rewarded... I can even promote you to a new position of your choice... except being the boss, of course. Is there anything else you would like to do than your current work?"

„Mmm... I always wanted to work in marketing. But what is this what you require... if I may ask?"

„It might be a shock for you, but I began to like your co-worker Nakano Arisa and I want to know more about her. So I want you to cooperate with me on this task. Later I will send you an email with instructions. I also want you to report me anything important about her."

Sayaka looked very surprised, but then said...

„Fine. We have a deal."

„I am glad, that you agree. Now you can go."

Sayaka still looked like she has something to tell me and so I let her speak. She announced me, that Arisa is on her period today and not feeling well. She even forgot her bento at home.

„Thanks. Now please return to your workplace and keep our deal secret."

She left and returned back to her room. I then hurried to the nearest shop and bought one bento with sandwiches and the best medicine available for Arisa to kill any pain.

„Can you pack it all to a box, please?"

Sales clerk was obliging and did exactly what I asked. The package was then delivered in the same way as the letter before.

(I hope that she will be fine.)

After work I moved to my private room, started both laptops up and waited for Arisa to arrive into the game. Even though she still might be in pain, she arrived in the usual time.

„(Hello. How are you?)"

„(Fine. By the way... did you send Sayaka a letter?)"

„(Yes. The way as you suggested.)"

„(Mmm... and what about my package? Did you also send it to me?)"

„(No. I didn't send anything to you. I don't even know your real name.)"

„(Mmm...)"

It would be pointless to lie about the letter, but I had to obviously lie about the package. Is she suspicious of me?

We spent the whole day in training. Arisa is very nice and kind girl. I can't wait to date her also in real life. It seems, that we can get along pretty well.
