Chapter 32: Meeting, final part - Tomoka's side

„Tomoka-chan..."

Did I fall asleep? It seems, that Arisa is calling me... I opened my eyes and looked at her. She was already sitting on the bed and kept watching me. I tried to get up, but my hand touched something else than the bed's edge, so I slowly moved it away.

I raised my eyes and let them meet with Arisa's, but she didn't look well. Maybe her head was still dizzy.

„Arisa, are you alright?"

Her eyes moved away. I kept watching her, thinking what to do, but then she looked at me again...

„Yes. I am alright. But I need to go."

„Why?"

(And where?)

„I want to at least catch the last bus."

„I can get you home in my car."

I didn't want to let her go. Especially not after what happened last time. What if she meets those guys and I would not be there?

„Umm... I can't ask you for such a thing."

„Why not? I would be too worried anyway to let such a cute girl walk alone in the dark. And it is normal to escort my girlfriend home when she needs it."

(Did she forget, that we became girlfriends?)

„When did we become girlfriends?"

„In my office. Don't you remember? I asked you to date me... and you replied?"

„Yes."

(She still remembers.)

„So I now just want to escort my lovely girlfriend home."

Arisa started to look pale and her head turned red.

„Arisa... your head turned red. Do you have a fever?"

...

„I am fine, but I need to use the bathroom."

(I see. She might really need to use it and was only shy to say so.)

„Ah... okay. You may go."

Arisa returned few minutes later and looked finally fine.

„Can we go then?"

„Sure."

She then got into my car and I took her home.

„Good night and see you tomorrow."

„On a date?"

(She is so lovely. I didn't want to hurry it so much, but she seems to be finally smitten with me too. I am so happy.)

„I meant in work, but sure... we can go on a date afterwards."

I smiled at her and returned back to my house.
