So today I had a lesson and it was pretty fun! I warmed up Bert and then Ms. Ki had me doing some barrel drills in the arena. She had me trot around each barrel multiple times, and then canter around them a couple of times.
Then she had me run the pattern twice and we did pretty good. I could still work on getting tighter turns but he did good so that's great :)
After I made the two runs, she had me go walk Bert around a field and then when I finished that she had me trot down to the end of the field and gallop back.
It was really fun!! Bert went faster than he's ever gone before! He was so fast!! It was awesome!
Since he's 23... I bet he was FAST when he was 3... he was probably pretty wild too..
I honestly wish we could find a video of him when he was 3 but that prob won't happen lol..
Oh also! The flag saddle pad cover came in! Can't wait to use it in the parade on Friday!!
