Ok... yes I did forget to write this.. but I have a good reason! It was late when I got done riding and I had a playday the next day so I didn't have time to write this.

April 5th, 2024

I got Bert groomed and tacked up, then I mounted and warmed him up.

We walked around a little and then trotted and cantered. I did some 360's and same-and-outs with him. I also had him canter some circles.

After that, I went and switched bridles so that I could tryout the bit that Miss Ki had given me for barrels. (I don't remember what it's called)

I walked and trotted him around a little to see how he would do, then I cantered him a little and did some circles.

I also trotted and cantered through the barrel pattern to make sure he'd do okay with the bit.

After that I walked him around a little and then got off and untacked.

When I was done untacking I found out that Mable had somehow hurt her leg.. I'm not sure how.. I think it's probably from pawing cuz she likes to paw, so I think maybe she cut it on the fence or something.. I'm not really sure..

But it looked pretty bad.. My mom had to go to the store and get some bandages and stuff for it and then she came back and got it all bandaged up.
