I had a rodeo today. So first when we got there I unloaded Bert from the trailer and groomed him and got him tacked. Then, I warmed him up and then once he was nice and warmed up I got off him and put on his splint boots and bell boots.
After that, I took him over near the arena and tied him up there so I could get to him quicker when it got close to the time for my events.
Once it was close to the time for barrels, I headed over there and got on.
I walked him around and trotted a little while I waited for my turn in barrels.
I ran a 22.965 in barrels
I ran a 30.676 in poles and got 2nd place!
And I ran a 22.003 in flags
I also finally remembered to ask one of my friends for her number.. so yay!!
It was a pretty fun day :)
