The sequel to Fragility.
A sense of loss darkens Talia. She returns to LA a different woman.
Her business mind goes into overdrive and before long, she is running high. This brings her close to Theo in a battle of power and money.
Angie arrives in L...
"I just said to you, what do you you think the best colours are going to be for the nursery?... you are a million miles away today, or should I say you have been for the past week or so...what is it?"

Theo sighed. "Nothing... I'm good... and you can have whatever colour you want... Colours of nurseries aren't my thing...
"How can you say it's not your thing you've never had a child before... This is our first baby I want it to be special, I want our time together to be special... But I just get the feeling that you're not as into all this as I am..." she said.
"Of course I'm into it...
Angie shook her head. "No.. this is about that girl, the one who was working at your strip club... You're thinking about her..."
"Angie!.. for fuck sake, we're not back to that again... I have not seen her, nor have I spoken to her for over two fucking weeks... And she was just working for me..."
"Constance thought otherwise...
"Yeah well, Constance needs to keep her business to herself and my business out of her fucking mouth.." he sighed. "Are you done here, I have got business to attend to today.."
"Whatever!." She snapped and left the store before he did.
Theo hadn't seen Talia since she left to go back to LA. The day that her siblings were killed in the car crash. He wanted so desperately to speak to her, although he had told her it was over or couldn't go anywhere because of the baby, he hadn't been able to stop thinking about her. He really wanted more though, and the longer he was with Angie, the more he realised he wasn't in love with his wife anymore.

".... What are you doing here?..."
Samira looked at Mason. " the last, I checked, this is half of my house too... But, I came to collect some clothes... Is that allowed?" She asked him.
"give me back yo key, I'm not just gonna have you showing up here when you feel like it...
"what do I have to do to tell you that I'm sorry... I was feeling lonely, and I thought you were facing five life sentences and that I would never see you on the outside again... It was a wrong move, and you made him pay for it... This is my family home. I made one mistake, Mason... one.... And I thought we had turned the corner and that you were ready to forgive me..."
He looked at her with a straight face. "You don't know me at all... You're my wife, you have my ring on your finger, but you chose to take our son's football coach to bed and fuck him... just a few days after you've been in the prison for an intimate visit with me..." he told her. " Just get what you need Samira and get out..."
