The sequel to Fragility.
A sense of loss darkens Talia. She returns to LA a different woman.
Her business mind goes into overdrive and before long, she is running high. This brings her close to Theo in a battle of power and money.
Angie arrives in L...
No matter what Talia did she couldn't stop thinking about her siblings. She sat at the graveside of Cara, Alfie and Amelia. She had done all that she could to keep her family together. It was so quiet and peaceful here. She remembered little things about growing up with all of them. How much fun they did have when times were good. She thought about Harley and wondered if he even knew. The last she had heard of her brother, he was living on an exotic island with his 50 year old wife. She was a self made billionaire and he was in his element.
She heard footsteps behind her and she turned quickly to see Zain. She stared at him and the bunch of flowers that he had in his hands. "You have got about 5 seconds to get the fuck away from me!.." she said, curling her lip at him,
"Listen, despite what you think of me, I didn't want this!." He said to her.

"You gave my sister hell... the sex tape, getting her beaten, the fact that she was carrying your baby and you didn't give a damn!...
"Talia I'm sorry... I can't say it enough...
"She was happy.. so happy... she was oblivious to you and your bullshit Zain... that baby was everything to her... you do realise that she had learning difficulties right?... that you and your friends bullied and tormented her yet she still wanted to be with you...." She shook her head. "Well, you as sure as hell got what you wanted didn't you....
"Please stop!.." Zain said. The look of remorse on his face evident, as if he was ready to explode. Him keeping all of this inside was slowly beginning to tear him apart, he wanted to desperately unburden himself but he knew the consequences would be severe. "I'm sorry that you and my dad didn't work out?.." he said to her as things quietened down.
She took a deep breath and sighed. "Are you though, really?... you got your mom and dad back together.. I was just that triflin' stripper that you all seem to think I am..." she sniggered. "I can just see it now, mealtimes around your family table... I guess I'm called all sorts!..."
"I know dad misses you... him and mom aren't together in that way.."
"Well, he made it abundantly clear that I was grieving for way too long and that I was neglecting him and his needs...
"Yeah, well he and mom shouldn't be together that is a match made in hell...
"I'm sure he will be fine, I'm sure he has many other strippers that he can indulge in when he feels like it..."
"There is one he's seeing... but he isn't happy...
"Zain!... just shut the fuck up... me and your daddy are done okay... just leave it!.." she told him.
Zain laid the flowers at Amelia's graveside. "I'm just gonna leave these here and go...
"Yeah do that!." She snapped not even looking at him.
Zain walked back towards his cousins Paris's car. He looked back at Talia, he felt for her. He didn't even know why when she had taken his father away from his mother and the family home, but he just did.
