The sequel to Fragility.
A sense of loss darkens Talia. She returns to LA a different woman.
Her business mind goes into overdrive and before long, she is running high. This brings her close to Theo in a battle of power and money.
Angie arrives in L...
Talia pulled up at Mason's place. Security walked to her side of the car. She let her window down. "Hey Dean...
"Talia... he's expecting you." He said and nodded to the other guy on security to open the gates.
She drove in, she had never been to his place before she knew where it was, and had driven past it several times, but she had never been inside his main home. "Wow!." She said under her breath as she looked at the size of the place. He even had a fountain in the middle of his driveway. She parked her car behind his, and she got out. Her car was a clapped out old mess, but she needed a car and because she hadn't really been speaking to Mason, she couldn't expect him to give her the car back that Rizz took away from her.
She got to the door and she was greeted by an older smiling woman. "Welcome to Oakes Green Miss Wright... Mr Farrow is expecting you he's in the man cave..."
"He's in the what?." She sniggered. " I actually get it, it suits him being in a cave.." Lucy smiled at her.
Talia was shown through to a room at the back of the house. She took in everything around her. She walked through his expense of a home. Lucy opened the door. "Miss Wright is here..." she let her through.

"So this your man space right?... tell me why we are in your man space and not sat at a dining table or curled up on the sofa in the lounge?.."
He smirked. "Because I know you much better than that... I know that I still have to whoop yo ass on the Xbox because I can't let it go down that I was beat by a woman..."
"Mason.. that was over a year ago, are you okay?.." she laughed.
"I thought we could go back to the start... She looked at him. "When things were fun... I know that you prefer greasy takeouts and drive throughs rather than fancy expensive restaurants... I know you like to be one of the boys and you are killer on the Xbox... plus, there is the added advantage that you know how to work that body..." he nodded in the direction of a stripper pole next to the bar at the far end of the room.
"So what's the plan?... you take me through the drive thru.. we eat in the car, I come back here kill you on the Xbox and then I gotta dance for you to make it up to you, cos you're a sore loser?."
He laughed. " That kind of sums up the evening..." he stood up and walked over to her. " I just wanna free yo mind for a while and let you have some fun.... I know that you are holding in so much emotion at the moment, especially after what happened to the twins... I want to be the one you turn to..."
She looked at him with wet eyes. "Don't make me cry Mason Farrow... no man makes me cry!"
