Secrets Part 3, Chapter 32
At General Hospital - Dr. Collins's office, Skye and Tracy were sitting together, talking about the past when Skye confessed that she was raped. Tracy looked at Skye, who was in shock. "I'm sorry. I should have never let Althea take you. I should've raised you. You're right — if I had, you would be raised by nannies, but you would be safe from harm," Tracy said as Skye got up. "Have you ever told anyone that you were raped?" Kevin asked. "No, not even Lorenzo knows. I should have told Gabriella when it happened to her, but I didn't. Gabriella didn't want to talk about it," Skye replied. "She's a Quartermaine woman. We push things away so we don't have to deal with them," Tracy added. "I want to change that," Skye declared. "You both can change things by coming here," Kevin said. "Thank you. I'm trying to get Gabriella to come see you," Skye said. "You can't force anyone to have therapy, but I believe you both have made progress tonight. I think the next session should be with Cecil." "Fake Rae, who lied to me," Skye questioned. "Yes, Skye, you need to heal from your childhood and all the lies, and Cecil is a part of that," Kevin explained. "Alright," Skye agreed. "Skye, come to the mansion for dinner tonight. Is my husband invited?" "I guess he can come," Skye replied. "Maybe we will," Tracy said.
At Lucas's Clinic — Lucas was setting up the clinic when Monica and Laura arrived. "This clinic looks amazing," Laura said. "Yes, your parents would be proud of it," Monica added, as Carly entered. "Carly, why are you here? We're having a meeting about the clinic," Monica said. As Elizabeth came in, Carly announced, "I have an idea. I want to buy the old brownstone and the surrounding buildings to create a women's shelter and a low-income grocery store." "Who would run this?" Lucas asked. "Me. Mom loved the brownstone. I want to renovate it," Carly responded. "The brownstone was one of the places I lived with Bobbie, Luke, and the kids. It was an important building here. I think the town would love it," Laura said. "What funds would you use?" Monica inquired. "I could get funding for that too," Laura responded. "What about your job as mayor?" Elizabeth asked. "It's almost over; I'm not running again," Laura explained. "Oh, are you sure?" Elizabeth questioned. "Yes, it's time, and I like doing the fundraising," Laura said. "I could paint it," Elizabeth added. "We need to do this for our mother," Lucas stated. "Yes, the Quartermaines have their shopping center, and we will have ours," Carly declared. "Ours will be open soon. Skye did a great job," Monica said. "I'm sure," Carly agreed.
