Secrets Part 3 ch 33
At Skye and Lorenzo's place—Lorenzo was talking to his men in his office. "We have a problem, sir," he said.
"What is it?" Lorenzo asked.
"Jeff is missing his bodyguard who helped move Julian and Cyrus's bodies," the man replied.
"No! This isn't good. You need to find him, and we need to move the bodies," Lorenzo insisted.
"I have to move them all now," the man said.
"Thanks. Your loyalty to me will be rewarded," Lorenzo said.
"Thanks, sir," the man replied, then left the room.
Skye came home from therapy feeling emotional. She poured herself a glass of water, wishing it were stronger, then threw the glass as Lorenzo came into the room. Lorenzo held his wife in his arms.
"Skye, what is it? What happened in therapy tonight?" Lorenzo asked as Skye pulled away from him.
"I had to reveal a secret about my past that I never told you," Skye said.
"Skye, whatever it is, you will not lose me. We both have a past and baggage when we came into this relationship. We've never judged each other," Lorenzo said.
"No, we haven't. It's about my childhood. One of the horrible things that happened to me was I was raped by Althea and many boyfriends. I felt so ashamed of it," Skye admitted as she cried.
"You have nothing to be ashamed of. I just wanted love and security all my life."
"You have it now," Skye responded.
"Yes, I do. Thanks for loving me completely."
"Always. You love me completely too."
"I want to tell Gabriella; I'm worried she hasn't dealt with it. I never dealt with my past, and I ended up being an alcoholic."
"We will make sure our daughters are not like us with our weaknesses," Lorenzo said.
Just then, Gabriella entered the room.
"Mother, I'm glad you're back. I came up with a name."
"What?" Skye asked.
"Gabriella's closet."
"I like it!" Lorenzo exclaimed.
"Me too. We are invited to the Quartermaine for dinner tonight."
"All of us?" Skye asked.
"Yes," Gabriella replied.
At the Quartermaine mansion—Tracy was talking to the maids about dinner.
"I want this dinner to be perfect," Tracy said as Monica entered.
"What dinner?"
"We are having a family dinner tonight with Skye and Gabriella," Tracy replied.
"Lorenzo?"
"Yes, unfortunately," Tracy said.
"How was therapy?" Monica asked.
"I learned tonight that Skye's childhood was horrible, full of emotional and physical abuse and rape. I should have been her mother. I regret giving Skye up; I could have given her a great life," Lorenzo said.
"Now you can try to fix it. We all have regrets," Monica said.
"Yes, we do."
