First and foremost, I refuse to compromise on any wacky headcanon that may get me nixed from any given round because a story gets stuck in my head. But here is some basic pre-planning for each story. I want to get these thoughts down before I go to bed. May contain spoilers for what I'm doing.
Prompt 1 - "Sometimes words speak louder than actions."
The story will be called The Hobgoblins and is Harry Potter fanfiction. The story will start at the end of Sirius' fifth year, go over the summer, and into the next school year. I'm not quite sure how to conclude the story. that will help emphasize the prompt, but I do know that I'm going to be juxtaposing words and actions through the entire story.
I also know I'll be starting out with Regulus going for the normal morning run that he does every morning, something he got into because of Quidditch, and as he heads into the Great Hall after the run, I'll introduce each of the other band's members, from Regulus' perspective. He then has to deal with Sirius receiving a Howler regarding his stunt with Remus that's in French. Sirius wants a translation, Regulus at first refuses, but then calls Sirius out for nearly getting his friend killed, which Sirius at first thinks is James but in reality is Lupin.
Regulus then has to deal with a summer where Sirius and his mother are really going at it, Sirius running away as well as the Prewett cousin in his year before heading back to school to where Slughorn suggests that he joins the band. Phineas Nigleus has also put the quote in Regulus mind, but he has self doubts. The other band members also have self-doubts of him joining, but he's actually got more knowledge regarding this Muggle "rock-n-roll" than the others do thanks to having to listen to Sirius' records, but he "unmasks" so to speak, or drops the Black mask he normally has on around everyone.
He then starts writing and recording with them, and there is discussion on how to hide his identity while also dealing with a certain fangirl. He also overhears Sirius' reaction to the music created, but I think a pivital moment is when Sirius suggests a specific song from the band for Regulus to listen to, one that tells Regulus he's getting himself across to Sirius despite Sirius not knowing he's Stubby Boardman.
Oh, and then there's that part about "That Muggle Girl My Mother Doesn't Know" that I want to encorporate in somehow.
Prompt 6 - "Your life as you know it has ended. Somewhere in Limbo you're met with the message: "Something went wrong. Please try again."
Currently Untitled fanfic for Harry Potter. I may call it Four Lives of Regulus Black but I'm thinking something a bit longer, a bit more - The Four Interchanging Lives of Regulus Black to get that weird long Anime title fill to the story that rather sums up the story in a way, or so I think.
The story starts off with Regulus and Sirius waking, having been both been told the above message and things seem relatively normal, although nightmares - Regulus ends up in four different places. He ends up in four different compartments on the train. He ends up sorted into four different houses. Something goes wrong, and he moves onto the next one, the next life at the point he messed up before, but there are certain things that start to bleed through. It ends with Regulus telling Sirius he doesn't think he's actually dead only to learn Sirius thinks he is, tying into their fates. But Sirius insists he is right about them being dead, which is when--not giving spoilers.
Prompt 9 - "After some long months of working harder than ever, you finally get to your well deserved vacation getaway but when you arrive at the hotel there is this one star that brings all the paparazzi and trouble with them and makes your vacation a one to remember."
Story opens up with Keith and Ryo hearing the tail that their mother is an Alien.
Then, we move to Rachel who simply wanted a vacation, the first delima being that she ended up with her brother friends.
Then the paparazi and alien shows up.
And Keith and Shiro are avoiding Ryo, while Ryo and Rachel are unable to avoid each other.
And the chaso finally comes to the resounding climex.
Prompt 36 - "'Fairytales are real,' and there couldn't be anything worse."
Regulus wife dies in child birth and he is told to stop playing around but remaries so the Black family will protect his daughter Hermione.
Move forward a few years and he's become a eccentric when it comes to his work as a Doctor/Healer combo, with a habit of losing time, but in this his second wife turns Hermione into Cinderella, and the hope is Hermione won't attend Hogwarts only for her to actually recieve a letter, but she knew nothing about magic before hand thinking they were simply stories her youngest sibling made up. To say Esme hoped she would be a sqib is an understatement.
Hermione attends Hogwarts and Esme tries to continue pushing the Cinderella role, only for Hermione to find herself not putting up with it to which Esme wants the midnight hour to strike.
Draco is the prince charming.
Possibly a disaster waiting to happen, this one.
