At Sid's side,
Sid smiled as a memory flashed in front of his eyes.
FLASHBACK
3 year old Sidshek were sleeping like no tomorrow. Their cute sleep was disturbed by a soft shake. Both groaned slightly and hugged each other.
Sidshek: Ahhh! Shone (sone) doh na. Ninni aayi! (Neend aa rahi hai)
They whined hearing their parents chuckle. Apurva sat beside Abhi and again shook her babies at which they again whined.
Sidshek: Mumma, aaj toh Shunday (Sunday) hai. School bhi nahi. Shone (sone) do na. Ninni aayi! (Neend aa rahi hai)
Shashank chuckle seeing his two monkeys whining with closed eyes. He sat beside Sid and kissed their foreheads accompanied by Apurva. At that very moment, Sidshek broke the hug and snuggled into their parents by keeping their heads on their parent's lap. Sharva (Shashank Apurva) caressed their hairs lovingly. They again shook their babies at which finally they woke up, rubbing their eyes cutely.
Sid: Papa bad! Wakki (Wake up) Sid! No shona (sone)! Shunday (Sunday) bhi nahi!
Abhi: Mumma shame shame! (Same same) Ninni aayi! (Feeling sleepy)
Apurva (fake anger): Abhay, mumma shame?
Abhi: No no. Shame (same)
Shashank: Are vo same bol raha hai. Right champ?
Abhi (nodding): Papa collect (correct).
Sharva were laughing when they noticed that Sid had again felt asleep. Abhi saw that.
Abhi (pout): Mumma, Papa bad bad! Ashu ninni (asleep), no wakki (wake up)! Abhu ninni (asleep), wakki (wake up) Abhu! Abhu cutti! No baat.
Shash: Are baccha, hum Sid ko bhi utha rahe hai. Utho Sid. Sid, wake up, baccha.
Sid woke up and hugged Shashank. Abhi too hugged Shashank. Apurva pouted.
Appu: Sara pyaar Papa ke liye. Aur mumma ke liye kuch nahi? Jao ab baat mat karo mujhse. Ab mumma ki cutti.
She turned her face but Sidshek hugged her tightly.
Sidshek: Mumma no cutti. We lob (love) you!
Appu: Mumma love yo too, my cutie banders.
She pecked her forehead while saying and at that time, they heard a flash and saw that Shashank had clicked their pic.
Appu: Accha, ab chalo jaldi tayar ho jao. Aaj mumma, papa aur tum dono banders ek saath bahar jane wale hai.
Sidshek: Yay! Bahar jayenge! Maje karenge! Yuhu!
They both ran to get ready. Apurva and Shashank helped the either twin. Soon they got ready and Apurva fed them the breakfast and milk. Both ate the breakfast happily but we're nagging on drinking milk.
Sid: Mumma, doodh chi chi!
Abhi: Ashu collect. Dhoodh (doodh) gandha gandha (ganda ganda)! Eww Eww!
They said making faces. Apurva bit her inner cheek to prevent smiling and forcefully fed them the milk. Sidshek were continuously making faces. But their mood changed when Shashank called them. They all sat in the car. Shashank took them to the park. Little Sidshek played all the rides such as see saw, swings, slides, etc. Sidshek were having fun on roundabout (merry-go-round). Suddenly, Sid got slipped and fell from the ride. He got hurt on his knee and elbow. Sid started crying. Abhi quickly jumped down and went beside Sid. Abhi's eyes too teared up.
Abhi: Ashu, Ashu, kya hua? Kaha chot aayi? Tum theek ho?
Shashank and Apurva quickly went towards them. Shashank lifted Sid and took him in his arms. He put him on the bench.
