29: Shadows

If Chan was being honest, he didn't like the Shadows but he had to admit they were pretty good at what they did. And definitely lived up to their name, Shadows. They were light on their feet and so silent, you wouldn't even know they were there till they announced their presence themselves. That was borderline creepy but cool at the same time.

It took them some time but they decided they would go with them but there were some problems.

"You guys might look cool in all black but we look like criminals in our attire," Hyunjin grimaced.

"And we don't trust you guys enough to show you our place so we can change," Minho spoke, his tone void of emotions.

"We can do something about it," Luna replied and motioned a girl to come forward. They had some conversation and the girl bowed slightly and left.

"Any other problem?" Luna inquired.

No one spoke up.

"Okay, now that it's settled, we'll decide arrangement. You'll be splitting into two groups of 3. One group in your minivan with 3 of my people, another with us in our minivan."

Chan nodded and turned around to talk to others.

"I have a very bad feeling about this," Jeongin said, and Hyunjin jumped.

"You scared me!" he whined.

"Listen here," Chan started, "I'm going-"

"Kids! Get your outfits here," Luna interrupted them and Han snorted.

"I'm pretty sure there's not much age difference between us," he whispered under his breath and a few of them chuckled.

Two girls approached them with clothes in their hands. One had black sweatpants while the other had the most bright-colored hoodies Chan had ever witnessed in his entire life. No one moved.

"Everything's the same size. Just grab something and put it over your clothes and you can pass as common citizens," One of them spoke up, clearly tired.

"And fashion disasters," the other said and they both snickered.

Jeongin and Felix laughed.

Seungmin stepped forward and grabbed whatever he could. Within the next 2 minutes, everyone had their clothes and were slipping them over themselves. 

"Police is here!" A girl came running from outside. "They must've called them as soon as they escaped!"

Luna cursed under her breath and started shouting orders everywhere. Girls started running everywhere and Luna came to them.

"Boys, get out and meet me near your minivan," and with that, she ran towards the back door.

They ran towards the broken windows, jumping out effortlessly. There were 2 minivans and 3 cars outside. Red and blue lights shined in the street as the sirens got louder. Police were approaching and they were fast.

Chan fumbled with his keys but Minho snatched them. He unlocked the car and ran into the driver's seat. Seungmin laughed loudly, slipping into the passenger seat. 

"It's gonna be a fun chase," he laughed because it was Minho driving, and when he drove, even the guardian angel gave up.

3 girls slipped in behind them with Han and others got into the next van they saw. And thus began the chase.

Minho slammed the accelerator and took the first turn he saw. He swerved and turned into every first turn he saw. The sirens kept getting louder.

"Go faster!" Luna yelled. They didn't even realize she was with them.
