If you ask Jisung what he prefers to do after his last exam, he'd take no time in replying with "sleeping, of course." He'd even ignore food for it.

The fact that he hesitated when Makato asked him was enough to tell him that his mind was not in the right corner anymore.

He was in his room contemplating taking sleeping pills to sleep for the remaining four hours before his exam started when someone knocked on his door. He immediately put the bottle under his blanket.

"Ji?" It was Makato. He slowly opened the door. "Can I come in?"

"Yeah," Han said, pushing his blanket to the side to make space for the other.

"Oh, no need to tidy up," Makato waved his hand in the other's direction. "I just wanted to ask if you guys have plans after the exam tomorrow or will you just pass out for three days."

"Oh," Jisung hesitated. "Um-"

Jisung desperately wanted to do so. Hell, he'd wanted to do so for so long but he was simply unable to. Too many thoughts in his head, too many things going on, his mind would barely shut up. Even his pills weren't doing much.

"I don't think so-" Jisung immediately stopped.

Luna had told them they had to be at a pizzeria at 3 pm.

"Oh, actually," he backtracked, "we do. Just the 8 of us though, I'm sorry about that," he added because he felt bad for the other. He really should start making plans with the other two, it wasn't fair to them.

"Oh," Makato looked sad and Jisung felt another pang of guilt, "it's alright. We two were thinking of laser tag after the exam."

"Oh."

"It's okay, though. We don't mind. There's just a minor problem."

"What?"

"Chae. None of us will be home and someone needs to take care of her."

"Felix's grandparents might help us."

"They went to Jeju for a few days yesterday, I'm pretty sure that's what Felix told us."

"Oh yes, he did."

Now that was a problem. They couldn't take Chae with them, nor could they force the other two to do so. They had to think of something. Makato interrupted his thoughts.

"We can take her with us," Makato said.

"Nah, it's fine. We'll think of something-"

"No, seriously. It's just laser tag. We can get something to eat afterward. It'll be fine, don't worry."

Jisung thought for a moment, then agreed. Makato left with a goodbye and Jisung suddenly missed company. Not for long though because his phone started blasting Shakira from somewhere in his blankets and he barely managed to answer it before it stopped.

He suddenly wished he hadn't. He wasn't mentally prepared for what he knew would happen next.

"Han Jisung," his mom spoke from the other side, crashing all his previous trains of thought and giving way to a new one.

"Hey Mom," he replied, keeping his voice level.

"You sound sleepy."

Jisung internally cringed and looked at the alarm clock on his side table. It was 4 15 am in the morning.

"You were studying, I take it?" She prodded further.

"Yes, mom."

"Good. Straight As are what we expect, nothing less," his father said from somewhere behind his mother and he resisted the urge to groan loudly.
