A Green Day Love Story

Chapter 1

It's now 2024 and Green Day has just came out with there new album Saviors. It's also the 30th anniversary of there album Dookie and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot.

Billie is on the set of Green Day's new music video for there new song Bobby Sox which is on there new album Saviors. Tre, Mike and Emma are also on the set with him. The video takes place in the backyard of a house for a big house party and there are tons of people there.

Billie is setting himself up on the stage as he watches Emma try to greet people as she's stumbling over her words due to her Down Syndrome. Emma walks over to a young woman with long brown hair, very skinny and tall who looks like she's in her early 20s. Mike sees Emma trying to talk to the young woman. "Billie, who's that cutie Emma is talking to?" "Who are you talking about Mike?" "The young lady Emma is talking to." "I don't know who she is Mike." Tre looks over. "Hopefully a new friend for Emma, she could use some friends closer to her age." The director walks over. "We need to start the shoot now Billie." Billie, Mike and Tre start to play as Billie starts singing. Emma is still trying to talk to the tall brown haired woman. About two hours later it's late and the video shoot is over and the tall brown haired lady is still there hanging out with her twin sister as Green Day are cleaning up. "Hay Tre have you seen Emma?" "I think she's in the house helping clean up Billie." Mike sees the tall woman starting to walk over towards Billie. "Hay Billie that woman who was talking to Emma earlier is walking over towards you, you should go talk to her." "Why dude?" "She's hot and seems sweet." "You haven't dated in like forever Billie." "I'm fine Mike I've been busy with the band and raising my daughter and now I have a grandbaby on the way soon it's a lot." "Billie, Tre and I have the same on us helping you and we are still happily married." "Hi I'm Abigail well Abby that is." "Hay you can call me Billie, have you seen a young, short, green eyed, brown haired, pregnant girl around?" "The last time I seen her was in the house." "Thanks, I seen you talking to her earlier she's my daughter Emma." "She's a very sweet girl Billie." "Do you like coffee Abby?" "Yes I do." "Would you like to go get some coffee?" "Sure I love to Billie. When?" "Now if it's ok with Emma, let me go ask her I'll be right back." Billie goes to find Emma who's in the house cleaning up. "Hay Emma do you mind if I go get coffee with Abby?" Emma thinks for a minute..."sure daddy you need go have a good time." Emma smiles at Billie while she rubs her belly as the baby kicks.

Billie and Abby walk together to the nearest coffee shop to hang out. "So Abby tell me about yourself." "Well I'm 20 and I've been a long time Green Day fan but I'm not a crazy one if thats what your wondering." "You seem sweet and patient." "Mike, Tre and I seen you with Emma earlier she has Down Syndrome." "I didn't have the best pregnancy with her." "It was 2009 and we were recording 21st Century Breakdown and I was depressed and lonely but I was the happiest recording. Emma is the sweetest kid it breaks my heart to see her struggling. She may seem fine but she struggles with anxiety, panic attacks and she's shy like me. I'm sorry I'm going on and on about Emma but she's my world. I would like to know more about you Abby." "I'm just a simple working girl from the other side of town with a twin sister and we live together in a tiny apartment. I work in a small grocery store not far from my apartment. Oh and I love kids." They get there coffees and find a table. "You seem prefect I really like you Abby." "Billie you seem sweet, crying, kind, loving and I would like to get to know more about you because I like you, like a lot. Your very cute." "Well I'm the youngest of 6 kids, my dad died of cancer when I was 10 the same year I met Mike. I don't drink I've been sober for 10 years that's actually what the song Dilemma is about."

Mike walks over to Emma. "Are you ok Emma you look tired." "I am but the baby is kicking like crazy" she says as she rubs her big belly. "TRE!...TRE!" "Yes Mike?" "We should get home Emma is tired and she needs to be off her feet. And I need some Tre time", Mike smiles. In the car on the way home. "Do you think daddy likes Abby?" "Yes I do sweety." "I hope so Uncle Mike daddy needs a lady." "Would you be ok with a mom?" "I don't know, I have three dads. I'm the mommy", Emma holds her belly as she sits in the back seat of Mike's car. "I'm scared to give birth and be a mommy." "Emma you have your dad, Mike and I to help with everything." "But what if I go into labor at a show?" "You will be taken care of sweety. Emma your going to be a great mom that little girl is going to love you." Emma ends up falling asleep in the backseat as the baby calms down.
