Chapter 8

A week later the tour is in South Carolina and everyone is in the hotel. Emma is holding her belly looking like she's in pain. "What's wrong Emma?" Billie asks. "My belly hurts bad" Emma says walking into the bathroom. "DADDY!" Emma yells as Billie runs into the bathroom to see Emma bleeding. "TRE! MIKE! we have to go Emma to the hospital Emma is bleeding. My sweet little Emma is losing her baby Mike" Billie cries. Mike walks in the bathroom to help Emma into the tub. "Breathe sweety" Mike says sweetly as he's cleaning up. Tre calls an ambulance and 25 minuets later Emma is at the hospital in a room getting ready to deliver. Emma is now crying in pain. "Emma I'm now leaving your side sweety" Billie says as he grabs his daughter's hand. After about 5 minutes of pushing the tiny baby slides out feet first laying on her stomach non responsive. "Mr. Armstrong would you like to cut your granddaughter's cord?" the doctor asks. Billie cuts the baby's cord and the nurse takes the non responsive baby and cleans her off and wraps her in a blanket. "Its a girl, I'm so sorry for your loss. "Would you like to hold her?" the nurse asks. "No" Emma says. "I would like to hold her please" Billie says.

Billie's POV

This feels like a nightmare but it's not my sweet little girl just give birth to a little girl herself who was born stillborn. I'm holding this little angel for the first and last time. She's beautiful I just love her so much and my heart goes out to her and her mom. Billie hands the baby to the baby back to the nurse as Emma is asleep. Billie walks out of the room still wearing the srcubs. Mike, Tre, Abby and Ava are still in the waiting room. Billie walks out of the hospital and Mike goes after him as Tre is trying to catch up. "The baby girl was stillborn and beautiful" Billie tears up. Tre catches up to Mike and Billie. "How is Emma doing?" Tre asks. "I really think she's still processing and trying to understand what happened she's asleep right now" Billie says. "We are all here for both of you guys" Mike adds. "I really think we would all benefit from grief counseling especially you and Emma, Billie" Mike suggests. "I'm physically and emotionally exhausted from all of this when Emma gets released we are going on break and we are going home I like the idea of the grief counselor" Billie states.

Abby's POV

I'm sitting in the waiting room with my sister Ava as Tre and Mike are outside with Billie talking. I just heard that Emma's baby girl was a stillbirth. Billie is falling apart and I don't know what to do but his two best friends are out there with him. "Ava I'm 2 months pregnant" Abby tells her sister. "I just can't tell them right now" Abby says.
