Back at Olivia's apartment, Iris watched as her friend frantically packed her bags, ready to embark on an impromptu journey to Temecula. She knew Olivia needed time to process everything that had transpired, but she also worried about her friend facing her parents reaction alone.
iris: are you sure you want to do this now?
olivia: i have to iris... i just have to go before i lose my nerve to tell my parents myself plus it would be shitty of me if they found out through the internet that oh- my daughter likes girls now
