There's a reason why Cash and Sky is the story line for the beginning of the story. Just pay attention.

Natasha

"Hey, How are you feeling?" I walked over to Sky's bedside and pulled up a chair to sit in.

Her eyes were swollen and her ashy face was evidence of the tears that once fell.

"I'm holding on."

"If nobody knows your pain, I do. You know that. And you know I'm here for you through whatever." I grabbed her hand and rubbed it gently.

"You always have been." She smiled. "That's why I love your crazy ass."

We both chuckled.

"You don't deserve this." My emotions began to take over me.

Seeing Sky go through this broke my heart. Not only did she loose her baby, she lost apart of herself. When you become so attached to something that's yours, that's literally growing inside of you, you began to love it. Then to one day wake up and be told that you don't have that something anymore is the hardest thing in the world to deal with.

"You see Cash?"

She smacked her teeth. " You know damn well I seen him."

"What did he say?"

"A bunch of nothing. His eyes said a lot though." She fidgeted with her fingers.

"What do you mean?"

"He looked at me with disappointment. Like a failure. I can tell he blames me even when he don't open his mouth to say it."

"He don't mean-"

"Stop Natasha. No matter what you say, it still is what it is. We are growing apart and it's because of me. I can't give him a family. I can't give him what he's been missing out on and wants the most."

"I'm sorry. I just hate to see you like this." My tears fell. "I hate to see the both of you like this. This ain't y'all and it hurts me to watch y'all fall apart."

"People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Me and Cash season is over. It took me a while to accept it but now I do. He just don't look at me the same. That twinkle in his eyes that he had when he smiled at me is gone. It's time for me to move on."

"Do you still love him?" I asked.

"I do. I will always love him."

"Are you still in love with him?"

She was silent.

"Are you?"

"That doesn't matter anymore Natasha. It's time for me to move on." Her voice cracked.

"Ok." I nodded. That was all I needed to hear.

I took off my jacket and bent down to remove my shoes.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm staying here with you. You're not staying here alone."

"Im ok, really. I really just want to be alone right now, feel me?" Her thick New York accent spoke.

"You sure?"

"I'm sure." She replied.

"Ok." I put my jacket back on.

I walked over to her and gave her a big hug and a kiss on her forehead.
