"Change of plans. Meet me downtown at Silver Tower on the roof top. Be there at seven p.m, alone, and not a minute late. Come unarmed. If you don't comply, the boy dies."

The line disconnected, leaving me in a panic. Leslie was playing a dangerous game and Amir's life was in her hands.The thought alone made me sick to my stomach because I knew what she was capable of.

"Excuse me? May I have your ticket please?"

I looked down at my plane ticket then back at the lady. "I'm sorry. I have to go."

I quickly ran out of the airport; headed for Augusts' truck. My plan was ruined and I needed a new one if I wanted Amir to live.

I walked towards the women's bathroom to break the bad news to Natasha. My mind was all types of fucked up and I really needed ha' right na'.

Cash was the only person left of my bloodline that I had. It hurt like shit ta' know he's gone and to know that I'a never see him again. And Sky, she was everything to Natasha. She was my family too. I know this hea' gon' tear ha' insides into pieces.

I never inna' million years thought that all my dirt would catch up ta' me. Surprisingly it took this long. I wasn't living right and now I'm being punished.

I leaned against the wall daydreaming for about fifteen minutes. I heard the doorknob jiggle so I jumped up from the wall. "Nata-..."

I paused once I saw the little old woman walk out.

"..'Scuse me I thought...."

"Are you alright sir?"

The woman's words replayed in my head in slow motion.

"Sir!" She raised her voice snapping me out my thoughts.

"Yeh......Yeh I'm good." I walked away in a panic; looking left to right, searching fa' Natasha.

"Nah. She wouldnt do that ta' me." I thought.

I went from room to room, peaking my head inside but she wasnt there. I rushed through the hallway, bumping into people almost loosing my mind.

I didnt even bother taking the elevator to the first floor. I ran down three flights of stairs nearly breaking my neck.

I went through the exit then ran down the hallway until I reached the main entrance. Once I got outside, It was empty besides the parked cars. The spot where my truck was parked was empty and it confirmed everything that I didn't want it to.

I walked over to the empty parking spot then dropped to my knees. I felt myself breaking and I didn't know what to do.

"August?" A voice called out.

I squinted my eyes and spotted Natasha walking over to me with a bottle of water and a cup of ice in her hands.

"Baby, what's wrong?"

"I thought you left me." I stood up and hugged her tightly.

I kissed her forehead, her nose then lips. I needed her so fuckin' bad right na' and I was grateful for her presence.
