August

We've been on our last flight fa' two hours or mo' and everybody in our crew was sleep except fa' me. I had alot on my mind and I felt like everybody's life was in my hands at this point. We all we got; Me, Natasha, Cash and Sky.

Fa' the first time in my life I'm scared. Not of these nigga's threatening us but of the situation at hand. One wrong move and das' it fa' us. We lose everything. I lose Natasha. I lose a brother and a sister; but most of all I lose my son. A son that I'an had the chance ta' be thea' fa'.

It hurt a nigga bad cause I feel like I'm just sitting back watching this shit unfold. Ain't nothing I can do except participate or loose my family. So no matter what, I gotta make sho' they safe. No matter what.

"August?" Natasha shifted in ha' seat.

I looked in her sleepy cat eyes as she stared back at me. "Yeh?"

"You ok? I don't know why but I have a strange feeling like something is wrong."

"I'm coo'. Ain't nothin' wrong." I smiled to reassure ha'.

"Are you sure? Are......are we good?" She pointed back and forth at us.

"Of course."

"Ok." She nodded then laid her head back on my shoulder, drifting back off to sleep.

Natasha

The four of us sat outside of Rome's mother's house in the black tinted Suburban. It was close to midnight and I knew that Rome would have alot of questions as to why I was here but I didn't care. I was here for one reason and one reason only. To see Amir.

I was still tired from flying, even though I slept through most of the flight; however, when we landed, this is the first place I demanded to come.

I looked in the backseat and smiled as I watched Sky and Cash slumped over sleeping. Cash mouth was wide open as his head laid against the window while Sky's head laid gently on his shoulder.

"Natasha?" August spoke snapping me back to reality. I sighed once I looked again at the big house in front of me.

"Yeah?"

"I want chu' ta' take as much time as you need, aite?"

"You're not coming with me?"

He grabbed my left hand then kissed it before replying. "You ready ta' show a nigga off?"

"You're my man right?"

"Yeh, I'm him." He smirked. "But as much as it hurts me ta' say this, I can't go in witchu'."

"Why?" I spoke with confusion.

"Cause I want my son well taken care of. I'on want what we doing ta' give these ppl a reason ta' treat him no differently."

"But they don't know you're his-"

"I know and we gon' speak on 'nat later too ma'. But right na' I need you ta' go in nea' and see him. Make sho' he ok so you can be ok. Lay eyes on him fa' me."

"Ok." I nodded. I understood exactly what he meant. If Rome see us together, that changes everything and I don't need any distractions right now; especially with what we have planned in two days. I need to know that he's taking care of Amir the same way he would any other day and give him no reason to change up their routine.
