August
We all stood in front of the short man as he puffed on his cuban cigar and smiled a the four of us.
"Welcome!" He held up his hands in the air. "I was starting to think that you weren't coming."
I took a step forward and gave him a head nod. "We hea'."
"Hmmph." He grunted. "Follow me inside. I am a very busy man that needs his rest. I was expecting the four of you earlier."
"Let me show you to your rooms and we will discuss business in the morning."
I wanted so badly to size this nigga up but I was exhausted and just wanted to get to the room and chill. We walked through the mansion without a word until we stopped at a room.
"My name is Richard, I'm Jaguar's business partner. I am going to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. If you need anything, a guard will be outside your door. Who's taking room number one?"
"They are." I looked at Cash and Sky.
"Oh, I see." Richard grinned. "Sharing huh? Well make yourselves comfortable because there is plenty of space. There's a kitchen, bathroom and enough food inside for the both of you."
I held out my hand to dap Cash up. We shared what looked like a manly embrace as I whispered to him,"Don't get comfortable and let cha' guard down", before releasing him.
He and Sky disappeared into the room as a body builder type nigga stood guard in front of their door.
"You two, follow me." Richard spoke.
We walked fa' what seemed like forever befo' stopping in front of another room door.
"You two sharing?" Richard smiled, opening the door.
Without answering his question, I gently grabbed Natasha's hand then we walked inside, closing the door.
"ENJOY!" He spoke through the door.
NATASHA
The room was silent as August and I stood looking around.
"Can we talk?" I broke the silence.
He ignored me as he dropped the two duffle bags he had in one hand and our luggage that he had in the other. He unzipped his luggage then pulled out a pair of Calvin Klein briefs, a towel and a wash cloth.
"August?"
He continued to ignore me and I was beginning to feel bad about being dishonest with him about the text messages.
He walked around the huge mini size apartment, looking for a shower, I assume. I trailed behind him, trying to find the words to say to him next because I knew that I had messed up.
"I messed up and I'm sorry."
"Whatever man." He mumbled.
"What?"
He turned to face me and stared into my eyes. "I said whatever."
I quickly broke eye contact because I felt guilty.
"This shit is a joke." He chuckled before turning back around. He had finally reached a bathroom. He began taking off his clothes to get in the shower.
