Chapter 7: The Second Act Begins

Act II: The Remaining Anomaly Shards in Idaho Start

We all hit the road to our destinations for our mission to the anomaly shard,
Oliva and I went to Mountain Home for our first destination, due to it being closer than the other cities assigned to us.

It's quite a distance from Idaho Falls to Mountain Home between four to six hours but that's practically the same length from Boise to Idaho Falls.

I and Olivia decided to learn from an audiobook of Harry Potter and The Sorcerer Stone. On our way to Mountain, asking me a bazillion different questions. "When are you going to pop the question?" , "Have you two decided when you would do the deed", "When's the wedding"
I sigh trying to answer poignantly "Probably once we get the anomaly shards and deal with these Anti-Star bastards. We'll whenever We're both ready, Probably not until we're engaged if that happens but in a way, she already did propose to me"

Olivia was acting like a little schoolgirl who gets flowers from their crush squealing as If she was meeting Taylor Swift. "EEK I need the tea for all of it, it's like my dreams are coming true." She says still excited

I sighed heavily I would probably die of her fangirling too hard that I become a ghost. But worse things could happen "What are you dreaming about?" Not that I would want to know since who knows what she was dreaming about probably sex dreams about Pedro Pascal or something.

Olivia giggles "You're facial expressions are hilarious loving teasing you about Claire since you always blush so much when she's mentioned or you act like some girl that gets asked out by her crush"

I shake my head hard Rolling my eyes "You never let that one down don't ya?"

Olivia chuckles "Nope, I won't it's fun teasing you. If you ever forget I could drill into your mind that she's your soul mate"

I continue sighing "Well I don't think I could ever forget maybe if I got amnesia or if somehow my head got damaged. But somewhere in my Brain would remember still even if it got locked in there somewhere with other ones"

Olivia smiles "True but your heart wouldn't forget either, and deep down you could never forget Claire no matter how hard you try. She wouldn't let you forget her either."

I smile too "I never could if I did have some things being forgotten, I know my heart would never forget. I Never thought that the woman I was in love with was in front of me that whole time. It makes sense why when I tried going out on dates it never felt like how it was being with her. She always had a part of my heart, I'm always 100% when I'm with her"

Olivia relaxes on the passenger seat "Awe so adorable sometimes it happens but as long as your heart is in the right place, and you follow it"

I keep my smile "I'm happy I did a huge weight got off my shoulders when I did, I want to propose to her at the botanical gardens"

Olivia squeals so loudly that I swear I could have gone deaf "Oh my god that's so cute, and romantic, please do that"

I cover my ears and smile "I want to but with everything going on it would be hard to, I want it to be perfect I love this woman to death and I want to get married at a beach or somewhere"

We eventually drove through Black Foot, To Arco, To Craters of the Moon we were probably about arrive to at Carey we were almost to Mountain Home we had around 2 hours left before we arrived.

Olivia smiles wide "Awe Claire is so lucky to have you, you're going to be like the cutest married couple ever. When you guys do"

I smile and continue to drive "We talked about our future a lot and in a way made a pact if we were still single before we were 30 that we would marry each other."

Olivia still listening "Still a better love story than Twilight you two have the cutest and perfect love story ever"

I laugh God Twilight is so corny "Thanks I'm sure she would love to hear that too"

Olivia Grins "Oh I know she will"

I laughed most of the Car Ride conversation about Claire and I
Eventually, we arrived in Mayfield slowly as we then got to Mountain Home.

Olivia said, "We're here now let's see where this Anomaly Shard is located what will we even start to look?"

I think "Hmm other than what we're seeing it's mostly farmland and stuff so maybe asking a local here what would stand out most here?"

Olivia nods we pull up to the town Larry hasn't suggested or given us a Coordination. To an anomaly shard or Anya can help us"

I nod "Yeah we should update her and Geraldo that we're safely at Mountain Home. I should also tell Claire she's probably anxious about me the last I texted her was that we're on our way to Mountain Home"

I text Claire "Olivia and I Made it safely to Mountain Home"

Claire was With Nina heading to Burly from Idaho Falls getting my text smiling and replied 'I'm happy you're there safely when you and Olivia are In a safe place call me'

I Replied 'Sounds good babe you be safe'

She replied 'I will, thank you' She sent me hearts and a kissy face emoji

I heart reacted to her message and replied with heart eyes and Kissy face emojis with the words "I love you babe talk to you soon"

Claire's heart reacts to my text and replies with "I love you too Baby" having a whole bunch of heart emojis and love emojis holding her phone close to her chest.

Nina smiles "I hope to meet someone like that someday"

Claire smiles "You will"

Nina smiles slightly smiles "Thanks I sure hope so"

Claire shakes her head they were going through Pocatello right now

The others were heading to their locations respectively.

Olvia and I got out of the car beginning to walk around in our nearest vicinity was a Walmart.

"Looks like that's our first lead Liv"

She smiles and we go inside Walmart "Sounds good to me Jay"
