“Did they ever find Bob’s body?”  Asked Ted.   “No I don’t think so.  I can’t believe that his own fiancé killed Bob, and then blamed it on a ghost!”  Said Ashlei.  “I know, scary right?  Poor Bob” Said Seth.  “Yea.  Poor Bob, I miss him.”  Said Ashlei.  Ted, Ashlei and Seth on their daily walk around town.  Cars rushed past them and left leaves scattering around the street.

Kids walked around in their costumes, screaming and laughing.   Some carried pales shaped like jack-o-lanterns; others carried just normal plastic bags.   “Hey, maybe we should go look in the woods tonight.  Do a ouija board were Mr. McFalcon died.” Said Ashlei excitedly.

“What’s an ouiji board?” asked Seth, curiosity in his voice clearly interested.

“An ouiji board is just a wooden board with A threw Z, yes, no, hello and goodbye.  We put a glass or a pancetta on top of the board.  Then put our fingertips on top of it.  Then we ask questions, and supposedly a spirit will spell out the answer.” Said Ted bordly.

“So you think Mr. McFalcon will answer our questions?”  Asked Seth, knowing the answer, but hoping he was wrong.

“Yep, that’s the plan.  You know how he hated us.  I want to see if it works cause if it does I’m almost one hundred percent positive he will answer.”  Said Ashlei, looking for some Halloween excitement.

“I don’t know about this.  Maybe we shouldn’t.  I feel bad about what happened to Mr. McFalcon.  And I’ve heard on T.V about how if people do this extremely bad things will happen.  I don’t think we should” Said Seth, trying to wiggle him self out of this plan.

“Come on Seth, it will be fun.  Ted’s going and maybe we can invite Sarah.  I know you like Sarah.”  Said Ashlei, deviously.

Ashlei and Sarah have been best friends since third grade.  But Sarah gets picked up from school so she doesn’t walk with them around town after school.   Her and Ashlei were considered the “Separated at birth and re-united nine years later” type of friends.

Seth sighed.  “Fine, I’ll go.”  Said Seth, unsure of his decision, but glad Sarah might be going.  Yes, indeed, he really liked Sarah.  All Seth thought about was football and Sarah, Sarah and football.  As they walked Seth thought to himself.  Delving deep in thought.  So deep, he couldn’t here Ashlei and Ted talking.
