Before Elwine could even register what was happening, Amy had slammed the Doctor's tie into Mr Henderson's car door.

Elwine's eyes had doubled in size as she stood watching the scene unfold. Never would she have imagined her day would take the turns it did.

"Are you out of your mind?" the Doctor questions Amy in shock. He was currently hunched at an odd angle, too tall to stand his full height with his trapped tie constricting his movements.

"Who are you?" she interrogated the man. Elwine was confused by this statement, they knew who he was.

"You know who I am," the Doctor said, trying to stop a scene from unholding. Well a bigger scene than what she'd already caused.

"No, really. Who are you?"

"Ammes, now really isn't the time for this!" Elwine stressed, walking towards her friend. She gently grabbed her friend's hand, squeezing it to calm Amy.

The Doctor nodded along to Elwine's statement, "look at the sky. End of the world, twenty minutes," he added to show the imperativeness of the situation.

"Well, better talk quickly, then," was her response. Elwine let out a sigh of frustration at her best friend's stubbornness.

"Amy, I am going to need my car back," Mr Henderson informed the woman.

"Yes. in a bit. Now go and have coffee," Amy said, in a harsher tone than Elwine thought the man deserved. After all, she was the one who stole his vehicle. He was merely an innocent bystander.

"Sorry about her," Elwine smiled sheepishly, towards the man, before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a £20 note. "Coffee's on me".

"Right, yes, thank you," he replied in a confused daze.

"Catch," the Doctor calls out to no one in particular, before tossing an apple into the air. Amy caught it with ease, and turned it over to reveal a face carved into it, similar to the one she gave the man 12 years ago. Although somehow it was still fresh.

"I'm the Doctor. I'm a time traveller. Everything I told you twelve years ago is true. I'm real," he announced, Elwine just stared at him in awe. "What's happening in the sky is real, and if you don't let me go right now, everything you've ever known is over".

"I don't believe you," Amy said, slightly squinting her eyes.

"How don't you believe him! He hasn't changed since we last saw him. There isn't any other logical explanation Amy," Elwine slightly yelled at her best friend, using exaggerated hand gestures to further her point. Excitement overtook her body, causing her to smile widely.

The Doctor couldn't help but admire the way she seemed to affect others, especially himself. Her smile was so contagious, he found himself copying the same wide toothy grin.
