Chapter 10

Ava's POV

I was at home sitting on my sofa when I heard my phone ringing I looked over and saw it was on my Kitchen counter I once again decided to ignore it until Ingrid came up to me and said, "Ava come on you can't keep ignoring every single person in this world and this is the fifth time Sky has called you today you HAVE to answer his calls!"

"And say what? That there is something wrong with our universe and for God's sake I can't figure out what." I replied feeling frustrated

"Ava I get it okay I know whatever happened at Ravenwood two days ago is driving you crazy and I know you want answers but the problem is that there is no way that we are getting answers until you talk to Damian," Ingrid said. She was right but I didn't want to accept it I know that not knowing what's wrong with this universe is eating me alive but I just can't get myself to talk to anybody.

"Ava say something!" Ingrid said staring at me.

"See Ingrid I can't okay I have had enough of all these crazy things I don't even know who to trust and I don't even have actual friends that I can go to right now you were the only one who ever cared about me and now that you're gone it's just no easy okay I can't do all this alone anymore." I finally let my feelings out. Tears streamed down my face as every word became harder to speak. Panic rushed over me as my mind started overthinking. I was worried about how I was going to disappoint everyone. I felt like a coward superhero who couldn't even get up from her sofa.

As I went to grab my medicine, a wave of dizziness washed over me. Everything started spinning, and I felt like I was sinking. Then, everything went black, and I passed out. When I woke up, it was like coming out of a weird dream, feeling confused and shaky. Ingrid came up to me looking worried and said, "Ava are you okay? You just suddenly fainted and I got really worried but Sky came to check up on you and thankfully found you and called a doctor in time."

I was feeling a mixture of emotions I was kind of happy that someone in this world cared about me but at the same time, this situation made me realize that if anything were to happen to me then Ingrid even if she wanted to can't help me and I would need someone who I can trust to work with me on this so that I can make sure that if something like this happens to me again then there would be someone who could take care of me. Putting my thoughts aside I asked Ingrid, "Where is he now?"

She replied, "He's probably in the living room or the kitchen he's not going to leave unless he makes sure you are okay. "

Just as she finished speaking I saw my bedroom door open slightly and saw Sky bobbing out his head and looking at me, when he saw that I was awake he opened the door and came in "So you're finally awake!" he said looking happy.

"How are you feeling now?" he asked

"I'm fine Alex you don't need to worry about me" I saw as I saw him giving a disapproving look and saying, "Ava you were not picking up my calls! do you even know how many times I tried to call you?! I got worried about you and decided to come by and check up on you and thank god I had a spare key to your house." he took a step forward and I noticed that he had been carrying a tray. He came up to me and gave me the tray containing a soup I took it and looked up to him and was he.... WHAT he was blushing!!! no no no this can't be real Alex known as AGENT SKY can't be blushing I'm pretty sure it's because I'm sick but what if it's true!!!

"When I checked up on you I found out you had a fever so I thought that this Tomato soup might be good for you" Alex said snapping me out of my thoughts

"Thank you so much for taking care of me, and this soup tastes amazing!" I said as I tasted the soup.

"I am glad that you liked the soup and Ava on a serious note please take better care of yourself next time, please. I know that all these things happening, and your best friend's death has affected you very much but Ava please just take a break from all this, if you're not feeling well or you need someone to talk to you or someone you can rely on please just tell me I know that you are the most powerful magic sorcerer in our universe but it's okay after all you too can feel a bit low at times and it's okay to feel that way" Alex said sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Thank you Alex seriously thank you so much for always supporting me and taking a stand for me and for all you did for me today" I said 

"Come on Ava friends don't say thank you and now you need to rest okay so I'll leave you to rest and I'm going back to my home but if you need anything feel free to call me and PLEASE pick up my calls from next time!" Alex said as he took the empty bowl from my hands and left my room.

After that, I was too tired to worry about other problems, so I just went to sleep.
